Oh hey! I have bought two snakes from these guys at my local expo. The last one I got was a desert phase albino cali king snake and I absolutely lover her. She eats very well, and is so pretty. The other one is a san diego bull snake, and he is very orange and pretty and grumpy haha.

It’s sooooooo hard to find bullsnakes in Canada. Great vid. I prefer snakes that retain their natural patterns but have a colour morph that amplifies the warm colours.

Dang, always thought bull snakes were interesting but never considered keeping any but a few of those got me thinking, lol. Beautiful snakes. Also here in California where I live a gopher snake is probably the most likely snake you’ll encounter the wild and then Cal Kings and I didn’t know that any exist quite as cool as these ones. That white sided gopher kind of reminded me of a palmetto corn mixed with something else, lol.

Love Pituophis such under rated snakes! Love both the strains of hypo in bullsnakes, whether they are hypo or not I will leave to the experts 😂 those gopher snakes at the end though were gorgeous! Envy reptiles have some absolutely amazing animals and would love to visit one day

Been waiting for this video for weeks!! I love pituophis, and fell in love with bullsnakes because of you Dāv. I agree, Still water still has black. So not really a hypo. So think it should just be a stillwater gene. And I love that Hannum line "blue hypo."

I do believe Stillwaters are hypo. Hypo is a reduction in black and they do absolutely have that. While they retain black in the tail, the rest of the saddles are reduced in black from a normal bull. They have the classic heavy black lines around the saddles but the saddles themselves are not black. Hence they do have a reduction in black.

Cool video! Are you going to SEWERFEST this November? You should! You could make a new video out of it! And I will be there!
@lukemorgan8447
@lukemorgan8447 11 месяцев назад
Those are really cool. They have a defense mechanism like a rattlesnake and patterns but nonvenomous. Bull snakes also have musculature like a boa. So you get best of both worlds. Bull snakes make great pet snakes but I might watch Clints reptiles to find out really. I think Clint has a bull snake video.
@lukemorgan8447
@lukemorgan8447 11 месяцев назад
So yes Clint gave a great score of 4 out of 5. It was pine,gopher,and bullsnakes.

We mainly have bull, fox and garter snakes in my area. I've never come across a morph. Didn't know anyone was doing something with bulls. They and the fox snakes are always so angry.

In the what if world I'd like to see the two partially patterned pattern less snakes the hypo and axanthic paired up to see if they pass on the partial pattern. If so, breed the offspring back to the parents to get more like the parents. At the same time pair off the best sibling pair trying for Hypo/axanthic/patter less snakes. So many beautiful options just with those two alone.

Yea idk if u know but the links u posted from everyone at the grand opening of Clint’s reptile room, while the links did work however, subscribing from those links didn’t actually work. I say this bcuz I went back to a lot of those channels just from seeing interesting videos from them in my recommendations and I wasn’t subscribed to any of them n I certainly clicked subscribe from the links you posted. Now idk if this was some funky RU-vid thing or what but yea I wasn’t subbed to any of those channels and I definitely subscribed to them all!! I can say that I have since subscribed to them all or mostly n I have been enjoying Clint’s channel a lot as well as this channel. Clint’s channel introduced me to the amazing indigo snake or as I like to call them, America’s king cobra. That is one amazing snake!!

The axanthic and white sided bull snakes aren’t really my favorites. I love albino bull snakes and wild type’s but the morphs you showed in this video were kind of boring to me personally. I’ll probably have alot of people disagree but this video wasn’t my favorite
