I only planted one "tree" in my life and it turned out better than I did. I'm so proud of my daughter and what she's accomplished with her life! I just turned into a Great Grandpa last year!
That was the message here, and people are unfortunately talking about planting something! The book represented the Bible, the instructions from the scientist/creator of the droid represented the Ten Commandments, and arguably what was created is the garden of Eden/paradise. Does that make the droid representative of Christ, inasmuch for the sacrifice part, and for being a conduit for sunlight (God's love), making it the light of the world (“I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me."-John 14:6). A case could possibly be made . . . . If you pardon the pun, those that missed this can't see the forest for the tree(s). . . .
Интересная история о, как мне кажется, чужой мечте. Зацепился я за это из-за явной человечности робота. Скорее всего он так себя ведёт ради того, чтобы вызвать сопереживание, ведь легче сочувствовать человеку, чем машине. Ну и потому что в мире судя по всему произошла экологическая катастрофа и людей возможно не осталось. Но что если всё же представить, что это человек, изображённый как робот? Не в плане сюжета, а в плане посыла. Он не имеет собственной цели, мечты, вместо этого посвящая себя мечте некоей важной ему личности, в данном случае профессора (да, он назван доктором, но мне приятнее слово профессор). Посвящая себя чужой мечте, не теряет ли человек себя, становясь "роботом"? Ну или можно ли чужую мечту сделать своей? Впрочем, вряд ли мульт об этом - это скорее просто мои случайно появившиеся мысли. А так милая история, в которой мне особо понравилось музыкальное сопровождение: хорошо передает настроение момента. Грустная в начале, весёлая после, и передающая чувство завершённости в конце. Из-за неё же сцена в тишине, когда испортилась проводка и пропало электричество, выглядит особенно трагично, безысходно.
This is only the second time that I've LITERALLY cried in relation to a robot/inanimate object. BRAVO! Timing, humor, lighting, story, and HEART! I LOVE IT! (the other time was about a REAL LIFE robot that was made as an attraction - it would 'leak' hydraulic fluid *cause it looks like blood, it was programmed to make maneuvers that would make it's 'blood' spray out onto the glass/plastic enclosure, and it DID *at first, have enough time to clean up all of it's own fluid, but years later it 'bled out' and 'died', so now just sits there looking like a reminder of how messed up *imo humanity can be.)
