This is probably the most interesting way to do a tutorial. Rather than just showing how to do something, you make it more like im actually in the classroom. Hope that you guys can have another series of tutorial. Thank you for all your hard work to complete this tutorial series

Not only did you happen to just release it when I decided it was finally time to start learning Unreal, but you also showed all the important things you need to know for fuilm making without it getting boring for even a second - again, thank you for making this insanely valuable course entirely free for everyone and showing a guy like me coming from Blender just how much you can do without having to worry about it taking years to render. I have had to learn tons of software over the years, starting with Strata 3D way back in the day (1999 I believe), manual matchmoving in Maya, Cinema 4D etc etc. I can honestly say that for the first time ever, working in a piece of software Unreal is actually FUN. Nice series of tutorials guys, like the vibe!

I've LOVED this tutorial. I am having this issue of my rendered version, not matching my viewport play version.. My ships animation is doing a weird loop thing and plays all wrong when rendered out. Im lost as to what causes this and how to have my rendered version remember my animation settings? ugh 😩

Had the same problem, @BadKitty24 posted a solution - I'll just copy paste: I did have an issue with my first render, my last camera shows the ship animation reset and start again, which ruined the shot. I right click on the animation timeline, went to properties and found "when finished" and i clicked on "Keep State" and that worked for me.

I need to say something very quick! I paid for Josh Toonen’s course which is around 500$ and I compared it to this FREE series and you guys explain UE waaaaaay better than that course!!!! Which confirm again that you guys took a very good “bad decision” for making this series free 😂 joking aside, you guys need to be really proud of this series. I think by making it free, you are building a community who trust you. Thanks again but I think you need to create another course (intermediate) and charge for it bcz you guys deserve it 👏👏👏

Wow! This comment blew us away! It did take a lot of time and effort to make this happen. We appreciate that there are people like you who understand what it took to say no to charging for this course. We took 3 months to reiterate and rewrite the script to make it as simple to understand as possible! We know that people who don’t have the money to buy a course can learn from this and go and create income for themselves and that feeling for us is worth 10x more. We learnt ourselves from free tutorials from people like Andrew Price @blenderguru and Winbush, so we wanted to give back in the same way.

I cannot imagine what kind of hard work this was for you guys. You did such an amazing job putting this all together. I have followed all kinds of tutorials for 3D and VFX for past 10+ years as well as graduated with a 3D animation and VFX degree. This by far, is one of the best tutorial series out there. For it to be this good, you guys must have had many sleepless nights, lots of challenges that drove you crazy, and a huge learning curve for yourselves. But you never gave up, were patient, believed in yourselves, and materialized it. Those that are reading this, you need to give these guys lots of respect and support them anyway you can! At least, let’s make sure we are subscribed with notifications on, and like every single video! Please keep up what you are doing! We need people like you!

YEEEES, finally ! I did the terrible mistake to use negative frames (i wanted to make a crazy intro scene with funky camera moves and thought of it after it was too late.) Had to rename all my .exr using Bulk Rename Utility. . Also i did experience a weird error multiple times during render. Something about "not having set BokehLUT". I'm not sure what fixed it. I rewatched your volumetric postprocessing tutorial and reset all my values to yours. (If anyone is interested you can check the result on my channel btw.)

Guys, thank you so much for this tutorial series! You can’t imagine how important it has been for many of us. I’m a digital compositor and I lost my job a few months ago due to the Hollywood strikes. It’s been incredibly challenging to navigate these tough times. I especially want to thank you for reigniting the motivation and creativity I felt I was losing because of the industry’s struggles. I started watching you on8/1/2024 and today 9/20/2024 have finally finished, I created 369 Google slides in Drive, by the way if someone did not take notes and want me to share my Drive with them, then comment in here, I sadly couldn't render 'cause my pc sucks, but I find it poetic since I'm after making videogames, I'm Mexican and you used the word "Change" so much that I have learned to not write it as "Changue". The tutorial was great but wasn't the best part, neither was it our camera, lightning, or even HDRI images, but the friends we made along the way :3

HELPPP PLEASE! ---> Rendering in more than 4K with "r.ScreenPercentage 150", a part of video on screen gets darker and reflectios are gone. I saw many people having the same issue. It happens only in rendering. I deleted the post processing settings, it happened again. How can I fix it?

I started yesterday morning (Saturday), and now it's Sunday evening and I completed. Time for me to redo everything again on my own, of course checking back from time to time for every steps that I will forget. Then I will proceed to more in depth character animation with metahuman. I hope you can also create a series about that, thanks and congratulations to you as well for making such an epic tutorial!

Hi Guys! I just sent you 20 bucks (Euro) so you can keep doing more of these amazing tutorials! It saved me so many hours and a paid expensive course! (I come from C4D so new to UE5). I'm interested to make a game like Real Myst or Riven 2024, in case you do games too. If not, let me give you suggestions; a Landscape creation tutorial will be a very good complement to this series. UE5 seems fantastic with that and beats all other 3D Animation software.Cheers!

I just wanna say. I'm coming to this course as who mainly do things in 2D without any prior knowledge about 3D because I got traumatised by Blender. But you guys make 3D and UE so much fun. I didn't think I'll complete this course. Thanks a lot for making these beginner tutorials! I can't wait to implement what you guys have shared and make my own 3D environment

I MADE IT!!! My Lumen render didn't export anywhere afterwards? It was not in the file I chose. Path Tracing worked! Will play around with the Lumen render some more! Thank you for this amazing course!

Brothers, thank u so much! I watched through every video and my project came out just like urs. My first experience ever with unreal and now im hooked. Ur such wonderful fun teachers that were such a pleasure to watch! Phenomenal job! Also, I have a few questions, that Id really appreciate if youd answer. 1) So, it renders just as images? Isnt it supposed to render as a video? Whats the proper way process so i can eventually turn it into a video? 2) Im a beginner and want to learn AND get as much practice as possible. Are there other RU-vid channels that teach how to create in depth like you guys? 3) What else can i do to get better? Are there any videos that teach tips and techniques that you recommend? 4) Are there plguins (paid or free) that are standards to u or other pros that help alot and are worth it (i know about EasyMapper and Ultra Dynamic Sky for example)? 5) Are there any other courses that teach Unreal that you think are truly worth it (free or paid)? I really want to level up as much as possible.
