Just a quick note. To display FPS the way I had it. Type the following commands in the "Enter console command" window at the bottom of your screen. stat fps t.maxfps 1000
When you change the scalability texture settings form epic to low ect instead of waiting to redo the shaders you can just restart the project its quicker and you will have the shaders already loaded on low or what ever you changed it to
turning lumen to none on two settings literally gave me 100fps boost. I was running 5.2 fine on my 2500k with 12 gb ddr3 and a 1060 6gb, and this new comp with a 12600k and 32gb ddr4 with a 3060 12 gb was running way worse and I was like "HOWWW". Thank you Sir👌👌
Epic keeps advertising UE5, nanite and Lumen but this new version of Unreal is really leaving one wanting for FPS. I had a similar problem. Project was fine, getting 80-90 fps, didn't open it for a while; when I did, 10-15 fps, same engine version, same pc, nothing changed...maybe it is the new updates cos all versions got updated? Surprised not many people are talking about it.
