@Zazmiz So that the table surface is flat. The corner guys allow you to retrieve the ball when it goes there. They also allow you to set up the ball faster on the 2 bar. Other tables have ramps so the table surface is not completely flat.
Zeke is a great player. Watching this match, however, was like watching a 10 y/o have a head-butt contest with a fire truck. The 10 y/o got a couple of good shots in, but the fire truck just dominated.
@iLemonable The match is 3/5 games. If you do end up going 5 games, you have to win by 2 points but is capped at 8 points. So the 5th game can potentially go 8-7. Also in some specialty events, or amateur events, the loser side of a double elimitation is usually one game to 7 points (race to 7).
@zeke, firstly your videos have been very helpful in learning the game, thanks! :-) I wanted ask about rico's straight shot, is he spinning the rod with the open grip to hit the shot? it looks different from his push and pull shots off the frontpin
Hey Zeke, I really love your game. Rico plays also always good against Tony Spredemann. And your game is really in many ways the same on the 5 bar. Thats why he reads your better then you maybe wanted to be read. Colli is the best in both ways, offensive and defensive. Its not a shame to loose againts him. I played couple of times against him. He let you play so that he can read you and then its over hahahaha. Great player, great personality!!!
What kind of balls do you use in professional games? I just bought some Thompson textured balls but my buddies at work are telling me the "red slick" balls are the real professional balls. They tell me the Red Thompson textured balls I bought are too slow. I disagree. I tell them better to pull of the controlled pull shots. Could you clarify?
@Chipadychuck I wasn't nervous. I blocked him well. It's just tough to score on him out of the goal. He also played great 5 bar D, so my chances were limited on my 3.
Are there any tricks to defend against someone hitting the ball really hard at angles and having it ricochet off 5 guys into the goal? That happens way too often with the people I play
Damn he cheated me! J/K. It's a legal shot. You can shoot while the ball is stopped. It would have been illegal if he caught the ball on the 3. So passing from the Goalie area to the 5, or from the 5 to the 3 while the ball is stopped is an illegal pass.
@SuperSlowball LOL I don't know where he gets those. They are made of some thick rubber and very grippy. He should be promoting his own TTR MasterWraps though instead of those "condom" looking wraps :)
@zekefooser These are made of latex. It's the grippiest combination when used with a glove, than wraps. I don't know about US, but you can order them in Europe. I really don't know the name tho (u can search griffgummi on ebay.de). And I guess Collignon doesn't use TTR wraps all the time, is because they are too expensive + shipping from USA, compared to cheap + more control "condoms".
Professional balls are actually pretty inconsistent. I believe Tornado makes their own balls and preferably they are not too slick, but I suppose slick could be relative to the ball that you are using.. anyways, just try to get some Tornado balls and they should be somewhat similar.

No that was legal. The ball touched to men and never stopped moving, he wasn't pinning the ball, but rather quickly moving the man from one side of the ball to the other and touching the ball with the side of the man.
@Unreal Foos You actually scored 6 goals in which only 3 snakes,1 luckily in third game,1 from goal in first game, and 1 push kick so u actually only scored 3 goals and even 1 snake shot was weird so anyways only 3 proper shots!!Your game is not as good as you present tutorials,because playing same shots in practice and in match is different!!
