It's wonderful seeing Kane enjoy the show! When I was Knox's age I went to a hot rod and air show with my dad. My granddad was a pilot and built an airstrip, my dad built a couple of hot rods by hand. That inspired me fly.
The majority of machine guns on planes had trigger interrupters installed that would prevent the gunner from shooting his own tail or rudders, they also had synchronization gears to shoot forward facing guns through the propeller without striking it.
that's so cool. I heard that i think a while back from a video somewhere. Might've been a youtube channel that does short documentaries on the wars and conflicts. Dark Skies or something like that. Its a great channel, but the have different oones associated with that one too. ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-km9CgTNbxg0.htmlsi=i3i8Y68yJOk1CHkb
You can tell kane really likes spending time with you, Roman. Your subscribers ( including myself) are proud of the person you have become. Youre a good dad
I remember going to airshows with dad and grandpa. Especially when we got to see the same plane my grandpa flew in World War 2 a p38 lighting. I remember he began talking to group veteran about his war story until the entire airshow gathered around him to listen to tell him war story. I’ve never been more more prouder in my whole entire life.
The old plans just sounds so great! I believe I got to see a few of those plans fly over my house for the Muskegon mi air show. It was sweet to just be in my back yard and watch.
I live across from dscc it’s really cool when they have the army planes out and the fighter jets. On top of that can see most the planes from John glen. Never gets old seeing the planes especially when they’re really low.
Local fly-ins are such a treat! They often have so much cool and often rare stuff. I've been to two recently and one more coming up soon, they are so much fun to hang around at and watch all the amazing stuff. Love all the aviation stuff you're doing!
I love just watching you enjoy sharing your passion about aviation. Being a private pilot myself since I turned 16 50 years ago I love seeing you share that same thing too with others. Smile More Roman😊
Beautiful planes and cars and of coarse awesome helicopters. My hubby was transported by AirVac when he wrecked his 4 wheeler. East Liverpool Ohio to Pittsburgh was like 15 mins. Hubby recovered well.
Great video, I love the family coming out with you to the air show. Brought back memories of when my children went with me to the air shows. I was in the Military at the time, and we had some great Air Shows. Keep the videos coming and I'll keep watching!
My favorite thing was that old truck and the orange mustang! The kids looked parched in the heli on the way home. I remember when I was a kid I got sun struck in the back of my dads pickup. You are such a great dad! See you tomorrow!!!
You are so right about the car colors, We drove from NH to Mi and back and we saw more white cars than any other color. I even said to my husband that seems more people like white cars over color. My favorite color car is a shiny red. Glad you guys had a great time at the show.
Man the old planes are my favorite time of aviation my grandfather was a missle tech in the army and he was obsessed with the old planes so I love getting to see them it reminds me of him every time
As a Kid we had airshows at Albany airport Western Australia, my favorites were the Hercules and Caribou and the RAAF formation flying, In Perth we held the RedBull Air race, 2010 a pilot crashed in the river and survived. The pilots regarded Swan River arguably the best location not only scenically but because they could use our foreshore (Langley Park) as a runway instead of having to fly all the way back to the local airport (Jandakot) each time, we never saw the race here again because of politics.
Miss going with my Step-Dad and Mum to the Large Model Aicraft shows (my Step-Dad builds and flies large model aircraft), Wish I had a family I could share the experience with as they were always great, Seeing the aviation content reminds me of those days. Thanks Roman for reigniting those memories.
Love the aviation content Roman! From watching you while growing up to going through flight school as we speak, it’s always a thrill to watch your videos.
You should consider attending EAA Airventure in Oshkosh, Wisconsin. It is the biggest aviation event in the world and has every kind of plane you could imagine. It happens every year in July. There are so much interactive activities for people of all ages and daily shows where you get to see so many neat planes fly.
Yes, enjoyed this video very much. Since my drone is gone now, I still have many of my old flight videos as well as the one I did on the Kern County Sheriffs chopper. But I really do enjoy seeing your flights especially when you have your camera man doing some scenery video! Your flight over the river or lake is really cool. I did get a kick out of your one remark about the speed boat turning around and you said, I think he wants to race me!
You should totally go to the Cleveland Air show very cool with jets and other aircraft this upcoming labor day weekend. Definitely would be a cool video
I'm a pilot and I love everything that has to do with aviation. So keep the aviation videos coming. That Marine Corps AT 6 trainer was very nice. I actually flew with my buddy Jeff in his father's Navy AT-6 Texan and it was spectacular experience. The unlimited visibility from the large canopy was a shock to me at that point after only having only flown in general aviation aircraft.
my father was into world war two history and loved the planes of that era...the p51 mustangs, corsairs, mesershcmidts and the zeros...fun to see some of those old planes...
Roman thank you for still pushing out content for us. I remember your first vlog on the first day of that channel. When I went from watching your pranks and transitioning into watching you and your family. Seeing you live and grow together, seeing the things you have accomplished over the years. I'll never regret following you after all these. Just keep being you
Roman, those big radial engines don't normally burn oil. They throw it. You never have to do an oil change on them. It is said that the only time they don't leak oil is when there is no more in the oil tank. I used to crew on a PV-2 Harpoon out of Utah and the oil tanks were 110 gallons on each side. We had to buy it in 55 gallon drums to fill up the tanks. The Harpoon had 2 P&W 2000hp engines that were very thirsty for fuel as well. Made in a time when oil and fuel consumption was not too important especially when the government footed the bill. When we arrived at an airshow, the first job was to wipe all the oil of the sides of the plane, lots of elbow grease needed! My own plane, an Antonov AN-2, stated in the maintenance manual that oil consumption of up to 11 gallons per hour was normal.
Love LOVE LOVE the heli stuff!! But I'm a Scale RC Helicopter Modeler, so anything to do with the BO is right up my ally!! Keep up the good work! You're doing great!!!
