Always remember back in 2004 we went to a yard sale in Georgia and my grandma let me buy someone's Pokemon cards when I brought them home my older brother took out all the best ones and left me the rest lol
That GameBoy as long as the back PCB still working you can ISP screen mod it. That’s what I did with my old GameBoy. It wasn’t working but found out that the back PCB still worked and that’s all I needed to mod it with an ISP screen from Handheld Legends
Heh i remember my little sister wanting videogames i said no because i thought it was a real waste of time and garbage until well i got her a Tiger game Mega Man i played it for a bit when she was asleep and now we both love videogames forever and still buying nonstop 🙂
You just don’t see this stuff at garage sales unless you go to a toooon. People do not like selling their games in this type of setting, especially for cheap. It is a shame really. At least the not selling at all part.
Obviously we don’t see the full picture here so maybe you did do this off camera, but ehen you already see a retro game lot like this so majorly underpriced, you should definitely go through pokemon cards no matter how modern they are. You‘ll be surprised how expensive even cards from the current set can be, like the greninja you could pull from the previous set that was already over 100$, would have definitely been worth a proper skim through. Long story short, my tip: never put off pokemon cards just cause they are modern, theres some major gems there aswell
Kirbys dreamland for 30$ xD Here in germany almost every GB had one with it. Its so comon here but hey if i can get 30$ over at the US i bring 30 with me and im fine to start a new life xD
Right even tho the tins are modern they still could have traded cards and got differnt cards that are older also there is probably some expensive new cards
Pretty good scores. Lemme blow your mind for a sec…at a garage sale years ago, a woman was selling her (ex?) husband’s stuff. I came away with (I kid you not) LITTLE SAMSON (CIB IN CELLOPHANE), PANIC RESTAURANT (CIB), BUBBLE BOBBLE 2 (CIB), WIDGET (CIB), and MIGHTY FINAL FIGHT (SEALED!). I paid about 10% of what they’re worth today. Best day ever. /flex
I never see anything cool at yard sales but I also don't really go to yard sales😅 my thing is thrift stores. I go to the at least 2x per day and find unbelievable deals. Just this morning I found a pretty new 54 inch Samsung smart TV with the remote for $1.07 after tax at goodwills. 99 day. Only thing is space to put things. Starting to think I may be better off taking everything and selling it cheap rather than to rent a storage building to free up cash flow and to give me my house back. Rn it's literally filled to the ceiling with thrift store finds.
on 2024 May 31 or June 1 we’re going to garage sales and my dad is giving me $10 because around my neighborhood gonna be a big sale and it said Friday but my dad’s not sure if it’s this week or next week or did it already happened so, today is May 30 Saturday so I’ll see you guys later
I would have asked how much for all the Pokemon cards and got them, cause if they are in bags that tells me right there that they don't know anything about TCGs
