Jen, suggest to focus on your striped sweater design in yellow tones to wear at Rhinebeck, good promotion of your pattern. Your crowberry from lopi has great fall colors. Knit the Gib in the daylight to save your eyes. 😊

I love all your sweater projects. Good luck with your Rhinebeck knitting. ICYMI, there is a great Fruity Knitting episode (145 at 52 min) on dealing with pain while knitting. I also have wrist pain and this episode really helped me. Have fun!!

Hi Jen: Thanks for an awesome podcast. Unfortunately, I am not going to Rhinebeck, which is two hours away. I would love to go one of these days. I have too many expensive dental expenditures to take care of the last two years. I would like to knit the Sonder sweater by the Petite Knitter and 1908 sweater by Thea Coleman this winter. I would put notions in that awesome, beautiful Of June bag. The notions bags that I have are all the wrong size. The patch work on the bags are so amazing and cozy. The small bag is roomy enough for easy access without me having to take one thing out and everything else accidentally falls out because I didn’t zipper it up yet because I am not done using it yet. It is sturdy and will not topple accidentally while in use! Erica’s stockings are uber spectacular and stunning. I was knitting stockings for my son’s family. I knitted Christmas stockings but I did not knit the names on them. My letter knitting skills are not good. If anything, I would try to needle stitch them on which I never got around to doing. Jen…I’m going to Rhinebeck with my sister this year….i moved to the east coast from the PNW so I’m super excited to go. Our LYS is organizing a bus so I plan to knit the whole way up and back. Lucky us!

Cute bag, I would use it for a on the go sock bag. I am not going to Rhineback, but want to knit a striped cardigan with felted tweed. I don't mind having a few wips. I have a set for upstairs and a set for downstairs and a set for on the go, and a set in a box just for Xmas. 😅

I can only imagine how hard it must be to lose your business to the storms associated with this latest Hurricane!! Will definitely be making a purchase when she is able to re-open. This sweet little bag would be GREAT to hold my knitting notions so I am not having to scramble every time I need something!! BEAUTIFUL bags!!! It is my DREAM to go to Rhinebeck one year!! I am knitting my first sweater, DK weight, hoping I will have enough cool weather to wear it! (Alabama weather isn't very often worthy of sweaters)! :)

I would use the tiny bag for my "special" notions--my favorite honeycomb-themed stitch markers, my purple measuring tape, my Little Prince sticky notes, the little plastic hamburger that is technically a cell phone cord protector but works AMAZINGLY as a circular needle stopper put right there below the joins... Great giveaway, and best thoughts to Of June and co. as they move through the recovery!

Oh my goodness, Jen, every one of your videos is so inspiring! I love all your ambition to get so much done for Rhinebeck! I have a very large Aran blanket on my needles that has a deadline along with another Christmas stocking, this one for my 4th grandchild who was born this year. I am keeping up a tradition that my mom started with knitting Christmas stockings for her kids and her grandkids. Once those deadline projects are done I will definitely knit myself one of your patterns, as a special treat. The quilted project bags are so cute!! I would love to enter for it but realize the crazy cost of shipping from Iowa to where I live. No Rhinebeck for me this year but one day I'll get there. The YoGabbaGabba patterns are AMAZING! Maybe I'll have time to do those for my grandkids one day.

You are amazing - I think the Energizer Bunny must have taken lessons from you! Thank you for all the woolly inspiration! I love those project bags. The smaller one would be perfect for keeping all the little containers of any crafty notions....little container of stitch markers, little hand sanitizer, little Chibi needle case, etc. I am not going to Rhinebeck but I know I will make it there someday. I am working on the Stria cardigan (Andrea Mowry), Sheila's Brush Mittens (from Saltwater Gifts - Christine Legrow & Shirley A. Scott), and many other WIPS that will get done after hand sewing the binding on a quilt. Thank you for keeping me focused! It is all about balance....being sure to listen to myself and not overdo the muscles for any one craft.....Yes, I know you are aware of listening to your body - I remember the episode where you had to take a knitting paws (pause). I will check out "of June." Stay safe....love your podcast. 🧶

I've just been drinking my coffee with you and knitting my colorwork Cuff Club socks from Summer Lee knits. Stash yarn project! I'm also knitting an Otra Cardigan from Skeindeer knits with some undyed local shetland wool. It's the natural oatmeal with the colorwork in a dark brownish black. The woman who raises the sheep goes to knitting at my LYS. I'm very excited about this one, and it has a steek!

I think the striped 1999 sweater would be great for Rhinebeck. I would use the bag for all those little notions I need in every project bag - stitch markers, tape measure, etc. I’m trying to knit 5 Ranunculus sweaters for my book group for Christmas. I’m on number three so I think I’ll make it!

Unfortunately I won’t be going to Rhinebeck, but this event is on my bucket list. I’d like to go with my knitting besties. It looks like you have a good plan for completing your GIB sweater pretty sure you’ll finish it in 20 days. Last year I did knit 3 x-mas stockings: for my son, my niece and nephew. It’s just a nice personalized item they can pull out every Christmas and hope it reminds them of me.

“Realistic-ish.” Word for the day!! I will be at Rhinebeck, would love to say hi and thank you for your channel. I was thinking about why your posts are so good and realized it is because they are not at all dull!!!! I am making a striped pullover from Good Karma Yarns, I bought the yarn at Rhinebeck last year. If you are not familiar definitely check them out I think you would love the yarn. This will be my first time finishing a sweater for Rhinebeck, it is a bit lumpy. Everyone talks about “the hill” but I cannot picture where it is. So much fun to be had!!

Hi Jen! Another fun episode! I’ve never been to Rhinebeck-maybe some year but not this one… I hope you make all the things you are planning! I’d probably use that sweet bag for notions or cross stitch supplies. I also make vintage stockings and would be happy to discuss it with anyone that’s interested! As a new knitter someone paid me to make 9 stockings for their family. I think I still have PTSD from it. It was knitted flat and was full intarsia. After that I will never again make a stocking!

Hi there! I am intrigued by the "Sock Hill Black Indigo" yarn you mentioned. But I can't find a "Sock Hill" or "Sockhill" dyer. Do you have more info?

I think the yarn she showed was from Sawkill Farms - they are a family farm in Hudson valley area. They vend at Rhinebeck and I think sell online. Fun yarn!
