Great videoing of these London, Midland & Scottish Railway Patriot Class Engines. It’s a shame that none of these across the pond in the UK are preserved to this day, but at least there is a new build coming.
I used to work with an ex LMS employee that reached quite a senior position at British Railways head office before moving to Australia. He was super pleased to see my copy of the Ian Allen magazine covering what he lovingly called 'Baby Scots:.
@@SuperDALLAMAN this was over forty years ago , so have not seen him since. He was quite senior then so may longer be with us. Makes me think that to have worked for the big four you would have to be around ninety or over.
