Unrelenting chest pain despite normal heart tests 

David Clay I was in similar situation. My LAD on angiogram was 50% and they did not consider it significant. They said they would stent it at 60% which is what the CT scan showed. All tests otherwise were fine. Very fortunate your cardiologist was called in to check it out!

I had the same thing. EKG was fine blood test showed a very small rise so they did a stress tests that showed nothing so they did an angiogram and found I had a 100% blocked chronic total occlusion with bridging collaterals at the top of my RCA and 2/3 down was blocked 95%. They didn’t do anything and sent me home. Went to another doctor and they stented both open.

Me too just learn to live with the tightness of chest and dizziness I also have high blood pressure but every dr tells you your fine after a stress test or ekg or tell ya you need to see a psychiatrist or gives you more blood pressure meds or Xanax

He is so good at his job and I wished I had this lovely doctor in my local hospital because I am finding it hard to see a heart doctor because I am really worried and suffering because of the pain

i am 35 years old with constant chest Pain/Upper right quadrant pain and doctors dont know what the pain is from. I have done Hietal hernia test, CT scans, Ultra sound, xrays, blood work, urine test but no answers. Gave me ulcer meds that did nothing. Pain is mostly at left chest and I dont know what to do now? SO FRUSTRATING

@@That_Cyber_Dude If I had your condition, the first question I would require the docs to answer is, "Can you tell me with full confidence that the pain I am experiencing is NOT something that indicates a very serious medical condition that requires immediate attention?" The docs (if they are properly qualified) absolutely must be capable of answering that question. If the answer is, "no", or, "we cannot be certain", then I would start working up the food chain. Demand a reference, i.e., specialist who has a thorough background in your particular issue. The point is this.... plain and simple, there is a near-certainty that SOMEONE can diagnose your condition. The bad news is that you may have to fight until you get the answers you need. Happens often in the medical field. good luck.

I been to lung specialized for ex ray. he saw dark patch. I been to other lung specialized he say I don't have lung problem I get v bad pain in left side. I have to take pain tblts.or rub. Voltage. to ESE pain..think u doc please rely to now more.if I do have..I had a v stressed full life..

Hello did you have a problem with your stress test, but a normal echo and ct? What made them look further?

@@kasiaday212 I had a VT episode...213 beats min, They recorded it on a holter monitor. So I had a angiogram which shown all was ok with regards blockages and structurally. Also echo gram was ok. I have constant palpitations daily. But they are part of my daily life now.

@@kryscarson5560 yes A little more than a two and a half years later, still have chest pains and for about three or four months I have been having intermittent pain right on the middle right clavicle, so far only at night. I have had ultrasounds of the gallbladder which was fine but they found five stones in my bladder. Have taken meds which have dissolved most of them. Sorry to sound like I’m wining but every morning now I get extreme anemic symptoms of which I thought was low blood sugar🤔 I plan to visit doctor very soon to find out more about the clavicle pain, there is a swollen area on my upper back. Thank you for your interest🙏😊 I will post doctor visit results hopefully before end of year🤗

Truth! Thanks for pointing that out. Even some doctors don't think it could lead to a serious real cardiac event.

TheAmtwhite just a thought but putting physical objects in anyones bodies cannot be good long term. Better surely to try to see if other non invasive techniques would give better long term survival? There is a lot of this type of pain with COVID-19. Many drugs and even things we eat and drink get into our blood. Would any of these be a better long term remedies?

I'm a male and they did this with me. I have no angina but I have pvc and pac. I also have sharp pains every now and then they blame it on anxiety

@@preciousloveslopez I have found two things that have been extremely helpful for me. 1. I eat less (as the Dr recommended). For my age and level of activity 2 meals and a snack are sufficient. 2. I had stopped drinking coffee and this is when I started have problems with my blood pressure. Despite all the evidence that says coffee raises blood pressure, when I resumed drinking 1 cup of coffee (12 oz) in the morning my blood pressure went down 20 points. With these 2 changes, my blood pressure is never over 140/90 and almost always lower. My night-time spikes have ceased. Hope you find a good solution.

huh...It looks angina pectoris from the way the pain travelled down to her arm. What was it if not angina?

Have her check to see if her potassium is low. Low potassium is needed for heart conductivity. Severe chest pain and left back pain is one of my symptoms along with increase heart rate, heart palpitations, and shortness of breath with activity. My symptoms are worse when I go to lay down and at night.

@@rabens02 Thank you, I am not sure will check with her about the potassium. I know she has done a lot of tests and seen a lot of doctors and they have ruled out pretty much everything that could give you chest pain. I know she tells me her family doctor is always saying her blood work is great.

@@conniemorgan6055 Same here only thing they found was that my potassium was low but they did not attribute my symptoms to the potassium even though my level was low. So when I started taking it was an instant difference, I ended up needing daily supplements of it. I can feel when it gets low and when I take it feels better. This Covid 19 is causing a continuous loss of potassium to varying degrees in people, yet hardly anyone or any doctors are talking about it. Now that I recognize the symptoms and can say I've had episodes of this for years but I never knew what it was so something is making me prone to it. She can request or look back at the results of her BASIC METABOLIC PANEL and see what her potassium levels are. See if they are on the low end. She can also start with adding some potassium rich foods and should notice some improvement pretty quickly if that is indeed some of the source of her symptoms. It is called Hypokalemia and there are multiple conditions that can cause it and it can be a side affect of other diseases, poor diet, and genetic factors. She can look that term up and compare symptoms to hers easiest test is to try the food change first.
