One of my family, 52y/o female, has a 0.4 cm unruptured ICA aneurysm now, this video does help me to understand much more about the situation. But choosing between surgical or endovascular way is a difficult choice to my families. Anyway, thanks for the teaching.

Took my 17 year old daughter to the hospital in December 2015. They told us she had a giant aneurysm and then left us sitting in the ER for 12 hours before finally trying to get her help. Dr refused to do surgery on her because she was a minor. So they put us on a plane to fly her to a children's hospital in Dallas. I knew it was a bad idea and told them that but they wouldn't listen. 10 minutes into the flight the aneurysm ruptured and her heart stopped. Turned plane around and went back and they still wouldn't help her. So now my child is dead. I just think they could/should have at least tried to help her. I mean she was only 2 weeks away from her 18th birthday. Is her brain going to change that much in 2 weeks?

Your story breaks my heart. I'm a brain aneurysm survivor, doctors took 4 days to make my surgery, even when the headaches were killing me... like you say they protect themselves instead saving a life ... some other do what they supposed to do

I had a ruptured brain aneurysm last year. They made sit in the waiting room for four hours because they said a headache is not serious. I tried to explain that it's the worst headache of my life and there is something wrong. They wouldn't listen. When they finally did a Ct scan and MRI they noticed I had a ruptured aneurysm. Thank God I recovered quickly. The doctor was furious that they just left me sitting in the ER. I could be dead.

@@juvega2877 my daughter told me it was the worst headache she had ever had. She said it felt like the ceiling came crashing down on her head. She suffered and I felt so bad because there was nothing I could do.
