What is the Crystal Dory AU?
Crystal Dory AU is an alternative universe in which John Dory is the one hold captive in the diamond bottle instead of Floyd. [Made by @teaOwOstache on instagram]
In this map we want to tell John Dory's feelings.
Note: the map uses the same song as an animatic of the Crystal Dory AU from another artist [@lee.p.of.faith on instagram] we have their permission.

IT'S DONE GUYS !! I'm so proud of yall ! We started this map in January and after so much months of hard work I finally hosted and with your help, we completed my first ever Trolls M.A.P !

This is so beautiful. It touched me. It paints JD as less of the pushy older brother and more of one that cares but made a mistake. Phenomenal job to the artists too! Applaud for them. 👏👏👏

Honestly this AU would worked in the film. As John Dory always telling and yelling his brothers that they had to be perfect, and all they do is agrue and argue. And for that they left separated in this household. As when John Dory has been captured by Velvet and Veneer, he was hoping that his brothers would rescue him, but when the time passed by. He was merely thinking that he gave up hoping that his brothers would rescue him, thinking that his brothers still hates him. And plus he was the reason why they broken apart the Brozone. And of his time he kept remembering his brothers, he feels guilty and ashamed.

My darling..... He went through everything, Took care of his bros and his grandma... Tho they lost their parents (idk really) atleast he tried to fulfill their place by caring for his bros... There's something really sad that out of all his brothers he's thinking of, the one JD thought of the most is Branch. It makes sense when you think about it; he was probably the only one that didn't argue with John, didn't seem to be mad with him, seemed to be the most excited to perform in the band, and possibly more that we didn't see before the band, and the family, split up. It's no wonder JD seemed to be at his happiest when he met Branch again, believing that he'll be the only one glad to see his big brother after so long; if I am remembering correctly, JD didn't appear hurt by Branch's rejection, unlike Bruce's and Clay's. This is really sad to watch, and it's done beautifully by everyone involved; I will have to check out all these channels. 😢

I love all the art style and animation style consistently changes showing not just John dory's changing mindset how everything happened and how he regrets it but it also shows how just like the brothers everything is constantly changing and everything is so different from their past up to the point where he is now it's kind of like a time capsule 💜

I saw VictoryThorn’s part on TikTok, and was invested in this AU ever since. You all did a fantastic job! I’ll definitely watch this again. On a side note, you guys also convinced me to watch “Julie And The Phantoms” because of this project. It’s one-of-a-kind, and that’s what makes it a good show. I just wish I was warned about the cliffhanger. 😂😂😂
