7:30 Beyonce had such a reverence towards Jesus, and then something changed a lot 2014-2016. She’s into yoruba religions that dismiss the authority of Jesus Christ over the earth. They don’t recognize Him as the pathway, the only true path to see God the Creator. I wish she would know Him deeply again and trust Him. Media training really is a lost art. These girls where probably 17-18 here and able to conduct themselves and answer questions. You don’t really see that today with these new artists.

This was such a great time capsule. The Writings On The Wall was one of my favorite albums. I was so bummed when I found out LeToya and Latavia were no longer in the group. I thought Destiny's Child would never be able to match the magic from The Writings On The Wall. Glad I was wrong. Still a reunion tour with all members should be in the works.
IMO they weren’t able to match TWOTW. Everything that came after was a collection of good hits, but not a really interesting collection of songs or a real group effort

They weren't in Elementary School (which literally there has been(and to this day) Elementary Age folks that has been in the Entertainment Business which is nothin new). All of them are beautiful black women, even if Latavia was your favorite, each of them are smart, intelligent and beautiful, but the fact is Beyoncé turned out to be the superstar because it was her calling!

Honestly they each should have been assigned a job. Since Beyoncé is mainly singing, Latavia should’ve been the speaker. The way she spoke was so calming and to the point. Nothing too outwardly emotional but still emotionally captivating. I like that. Latoya should’ve been the actress cause she has the whole package (girl next door) and Miss Kelly honeyyyy, should’ve been the model! All whilst doing music! They should’ve made sure EACH girl was taken care of. Not blaming the girls cause they were kids but it’s just sad when adults know better and still don’t do better 🤷🏾♀️ They look adorable though and they were clearly meant to be, so cute 😍✨

Man. Beyoncé’s confidence has transformed tremendously. It’s crazy seeing her so shy and timid. In addition, even though there was so much controversy involving her father in later years, I am so glad that he managed her for so long because I feel if he had not managed Beyoncé for as long as he did, she would not be as stable as she is today. The industry would have ate her up and spit her out alive. She is one of those naturally shy women who just happens to be a show stopper too. It’s really intriguing. You can tell even at that young age Bey had good leadership training just by the way she maneuvered throughout the interview. Even the direct eye contact and shaking the hands and thanking the interviewers. Very admirable

Latavia was the spokesman for the group and bass singer/ background. That was her role. Matthew did not want Beyoncé really speaking as he saw she was a little delayed with speech. By delayed I mean the " umm and uhh."
It's Destiny's Child, not children. Her parents made sure to surround Beyonce with darker girls and that would be light and blonde. Strategy made Beyonce stand out.
I noticed that too, you can also tell Beyoncé’s hair is in the same style as it is in the Say my name video. The dispute and firing of Latoya and Latavia must have been soon after this interview.

It was very telling that Latavia said" I didn't even know we sold 1.5 million until I heard ya'll talking". That's why she and Letoya wanted a business manager to come in. They were out of the loop about a lot of stuff.
