Nice video. Can I ask where you have found all the information for this video series? Because I have been to both Waterloo en Ligny museum and never saw any documentation that is so detailled as in your video's. If there is a special/specific book about the Belgium campaign I really like to know. I read The Campaigns of Napoleon by David Chandler (really good book btw) and I'm always prepared for more.

napoleonistyka.atspace.com/BATTLE_OF_QUATRE_BRAS.htm In the above link, you'll find a very good summary of the 100 days campaign. And the battle of Gilly with pictures. You can find all his used sources at the bottom of the above links page. However allot of history concerning Napoleon is written from the English point of view. And when for example Marie Joseph Louis Adolphe Thiers (French Statesman, historian, lawyer, journalist and president of France) wrote his books: Thiers historical works. The truth is twisted for political ends. So allot of sources are not 100% truthful. Therefore I can recommend the books of Paul Lindsay Dawson: with the books: Battle for Paris 1815, Waterloo the truth at last, Napoleon and Grouchy, Ney at Quatre Bras, ... He found out for example: that it was a lie that Marshal Soult did a poor job at doing his staff work. Mister L. Dawson made his life work to connect the dots between the missing links via the French archives. And shows you what is the truth via original documents. Writing in a neutral way. And letting you form your own opinion on the events via, for example, his historical orders. He shows in his books. From all the sources, Paul L. Dawson is the best by far.

@@thomastollet8903 I assume you mean the museum, well ... Since the renovation of the Waterloo museum it's really nice to visit (also if you have children). They have a kind of catwalk with uniforms, reconstructions, 3D movie, ... If you pay some more you can also visit the Hougoumont farmhouse and museum also very well done, in the barn you can watch a kind of light show about the battle. Also the farmhouse of Mont-Saint-Jean and the last quarter of Napoleon and Wellington are worth a visit (all in 1 ticket), the museums complement each other well. The museum of Ligny is a bit small but stacked with stuff, they make good use of the place they have. For real fanatics 4 days to visit all the sites of the Belgian campaign is recommended if you ask me.
