Homelessness is a global issue with local impact. The unsheltered population has grown during the Covid-19 pandemic and Chattanooga was just one city feeling the direct effects. As the homeless population grows in the Chattanooga community, so does the urgency to assist those in need. Agencies & citizens alike understand the struggles of being unsheltered and work hard toward a common goal: providing those in need with help, and eradicating homelessness.

I appreciate Josh's heart. And those volunteers. But what he made was better than a tent or no tent at all. It was better than walking down through there and finding someone frozen to death. I pray that a solution for providing decent housing for out and sheltered happens

At least he is doing something...waiting on the government even locally takes too much time.

Hello I live in Chattanooga,TN my story is maybe unique in the fact that I have overcome addiction and homelessness due to my family. But I know so many don't have that.... I want to give back and help make change.
