It was 2023 and I was 15 years old, I felt like my life wasn’t going to plan, I had no part time job, I didn’t have energy in school, I was always lazy with being fit, I had no hope, but... before 2023 started, I set a timer for when I hit 16 for 2024 to pray to Jesus for 30 minutes, and that’s what I did. Ever since after I prayed that morning, I’ve gotten a job, passed my learners test to legally drive, got a girlfriend early March, started working out and started passing my school tests. I just want yous to remember, it takes patience, not time. Jesus loves you, and forever will be by your side ❤️

I was grown up in Christian background family, my dad used to pray for all of us (my family) at the extent I used to fill his prayers in the midnight during sleeping time in high school. God answered his prayer because during my senior three, I become saved by Jesus Christ. this song made me remember that. I would tell every body , may be your sons and daughters are not in the right way that God needs, what you have to do is cry out to the lord. One day , i lied to my parents because i was going to church and for the first time i felt god's presence, i witness god's love in my life. I have been through ups and down , made decisions i never thought i would. One thing i can say today is that God love us all, he wants us to be strong and live in truth. I have been crying and praying since a really bad decision, now late in life, after decades of being a Christian can't believe everything is now falling part and feeling completely lost. All my fault. Ended up having a complete nervous breakdown. Couldn't eat, couldn't sleep, barely able to pray, suicidal. There has not been one moment that God has left me. In my darkest moments God reminded me that He has covered me with His feathers and has me under His wings, wrapped in His love. Keep the faith that God loves you, will never leave you or forsake you. I lost my mom the day after Father's Day and that has been used of the LORD to try and help me to get to a point where I truly cry out to Him with my whole heart. Y'all's song "You've always been" has always been one of my favorite songs and goes along with this song for me. I went through a lot of different traumas over the years and I have tried handling things on my own and I just can't keep trying to do it in my own strength anymore. I need prayers that I will break down and cry really good and allow the LORD to help me and heal me of these things and also a bunch of rejection I have felt over the years as well. I'm really hurting over losing my mom especially because I never really had a close relationship with her and I wasn't allowed to be around her for more than a couple of years before she passed except for the last while when she was in the nursing home I was allowed to be around her but she had been losing her memory some. My dad had her cremated and I feel like I didn't get closure because of that also. I was planning on going back to see her the day she passed away and I visited her the day before.

This is a masterpiece. I don’t know how I found this but I guess it’s planned. So took some heavy losses at work recently then lost our only dog who came into my life 5 years when she was just a pup that was back when I asked God for help with my alcohol issues…5 years sober despite that I know faith in the Lord’s ways will always deliver us from our problems. Struggling with depression drugs getting hit by a car going 60 mph (so ptsd) alcohol abuse Financial problems along with alot of other issues/problems. Yet I have faith even when I feel like I don’t ik I do because I’m saved by the lord. STILL DOESNT MAKE IT EASIER. Please don't give up. Just think about the people in the bible and countless of ordinary people of God that He used and is using for His kingdom. You have a purpose. Keep praying and reading His Word. Fasting and prayer for a more intimate connection with Him. Just in case you've never fasted, it helps to start with fasting one meal and gradually go up to a day and so forth. This is my testimony that has helped me stay connected with Father through the good and bad times. Praying for you. ❤
