If you are born muslims, you will not face some drawbacks and hardships that people who were born in non muslim families have to face like the rejection of their familes and friends and sometimes not having muslim companions who would help you stay firm to the religion etc.....but as long as you try your best Allah will not leave you by yourself

Just as being born into a rich family doesn't guarantee that you'll stay rich your entire life, being born Muslim doesn't necessarily mean you'll die with the certainty that it's the truth; you will have, with the help of your fitra, to work continuously to strengthen your faith and understanding, and to ensure that you remain on the right path.

I personally disagree. If it was roles reversed, the Muslim would have been arrested for being aggressive and threatening. I'm not saying the police were bad, I'm pretty confident that if that was a Muslim vs anyone else, the Muslim would have most like been arrested. I'll finish you is a threat, in my opinion and in the eyes of the law. This type of punishments were based on Old Testament despite that Jesus Christ stopped the old covenant, He forbidded death punishment. Of course, the Inquisition didn't care, actually it was a very useful religious tool to dominate people through fear, injustice and power, exactly opossite of what Jesus teached. After Inquisition lost it's power it remained the excomunication of course with posibility of returning anytime. Now, nothing happen when someone leaves the church. We christians pray for him/her/they to find their way back to church. But it's up to them. You have to understand that christianity is based on New Testament. The Old Testament is iudaism or mosaic religion. Learn to make to the difference.
It was shown in PEW research that ex muslim and revert have comparison 9/ 12 that mean there will be 12 people that convert to islam when 9 people leave islam.
I remember an ex-Muslim walked into my class in university and wrote derogatory things about the prophet pbuh on the blackboard in Arabic, thinking that nobody else in the class would understand what he’s writing. When I called him out he suddenly froze and began acting erratic and left the room. I honestly feel sorry for these people - they have clearly gone through a situation which has affected them at a deep level and unfortunately pinned it to Islam rather than humanity. I pray that they are guided to the straight path.

Yeah but it’s always the Shias, same goes with Iranians. It’s very rare you’ll find apostates from sunnis. There’s lot’s of confusion and superstition in the Shia sect. That’s why you see them leaving the religion, from the Iraqis to the Iranians or other muslim communities of Shia sect.
