When Alexander asks them what they would do with the money BEFORE the first answer gets checked, you just know it's going to be pointless right off the bat.

@@McMxxCiV I've watched an episode just yesterday where he did it right away and none of the answers were pointless. He does it at some point in the process, but it has nothing to do with whether or not the first answer is pointless.

I've binged on a lot of episodes of Pointless and 99% of the time he asks it before the any of the points are shown. I think that's the point, many times the first answer could be pointless after all.

19th century literature was shockingly bad. I wonder if the audience was younger. SPOILER ALERT!!! A Christmas Carol, Pride and Prejudice should have been near 100, let alone the others. I went for Tenant of Wildfell Hall. I thought Cranford would be too high.
