Many people may not read this. I'm someone who has always looked to push my boundaries and never quit. I could fly before I could drive, run a marathon at 18 and so much more. Recently at 24 I lost my mind and suffered from severe anxiety, which has now led me to change roles in my work. I say this as someone who knows. Do not be afraid to fail. I feel as though I had failed. I felt I had given up. I lost the love of my life as a result. But I want people to know that you can repair, you can build a stronger you and the old part of me has returned and I will keep pushing and I will keep going. I wish you all the very best of luck whether it be sports, work or home life! Never give up and never give in!

You get teary if you're working really hard to make it into the team, and shitter people make it and not you, and you know they're shitter because they're several levels below you, but when they make it and you don't, it breaks your heart, but it also makes you want to prove to the whole world just how better you are then them, take one more step and you'l get there, I promise, I didn't get picked for the game last Saturday, we lost 1-0. Worked my ass off the following week, made it in, scored four goals, showed the coach what he was missed out on, all you need to remember is to take it one more step further each time. Phrases like "Give 110%" are not only idiotic but so played out that I get nothing out of them. This video is essentially 5 minutes of phrases like that cut out of context from movies I didn't like.
I have my exams in one and half years from now, which when achieved I can get admitted to the best institute of my country and fulfill ANY of the dreams that I have. I have the desire. I am motivated. What I lack is work. Tremendous efforts that I need to crack the entrance test in order to live my dreams. The test for which the intelligent and dedicated students in my country devote their two years for. And I am HALF A YEAR BEHIND all of them right now. I am starting here. At THIS MOMENT. Gonna study hard and make my goal come true. First topping my class and then THE ENTRANCE TEST. I'm coming.

in jan 2016 i started studying for the state's medical school test.... there were a lot of "friends" that told me to "forget it, its just too hard for you, you will never make it, its like 300/1 chance that you get in" and that made me angry and caused me a lot of pain... so i decided to turn all that anger in motivation, and so i started my journey.I studied 10 hours straight every single day in that year, gave it my all, in dec 2016, the test came and now here i am, on the first semester of the medicine school :) never give up my friends!

I've watched these videos and they're quite inspiring. I decided to back to college for a dream to help children while working full time and raising a family. Math was my most difficult subject, yet it's what I need most. I studied and worked, that's it. I thought I bombed the final and failed the class, nope. My hard work paid off and I'm still going full forward.

Found this out 9 years ago, during puberty and playing video games more than 8 hours a day. Made me rethink my whole life and set definite goals. I lost 20 pounds the following year and aspired to study in the following. I am now 23 and in the last year of vet school, aspiring to make the world around me a better place. . Thank you so much for this. Positive role models are so rare in this pessimistic era and while they are important for the society, who needs them most are teenagers trying to create their identity. Watched this video a few times a year. Its good to remember and re-spark that motivation. I remember living paycheck to paycheck, now I am working in a great place, quadrupled my income, and invested in assets. This video has helped keep that spark alive.

I know this comment section is full of motivated people, but I want to share what's going on inside my head. I am currently suffering with psychosis and frequent brief psychotic epidodes. Just two years ago, I was well on my way to becoming a surgeon. I got average C in all my GCSEs. EVERYONE told me to stop. That it was embarrassing, - me having such high ambitions. The college tutors only ever told me it's never going to happen. That my grades have already written the script for my entire future. And how high my dreams should be... I struggle to tell the difference between reality and delusions now. I don't know what is my past and what isn't. But I am so angry... Angry that everything I've ever dreamed for is GONE. angry I went from prospective surgeon to victim unable to leave the front door. I AM SO ANGRY. I have to go back to college next year. I don't care who thinks I can or who thinks I can't. Fuck all of them. I have to do it. One lifetime. One ambition. One chance. I will be a surgeon. Even if it means sacrificing everything and everone I love along the way. I will pave the way with blood sweat and tears if I have to.
Sad truth is it just impossible to become successful and best in your profession, if you simply have no talent and good gens. You can work as hard as you want. Hour by hour, day by day.But unfortunately one day you will realize it. Athletes like Lebron James, Leo Messi, Michael Jordon, Maradona, Pele or actors like Leo DiCaprio, Al Pacino, Marlon Brando, Clint Eastwood was and are incredibly talented people.

It's been 6 years since i've watched this video and honestly it helped with my studies so much because I managed to become motivated enough to succeed and enter my country's top university. But i've slowly lost my spark and now i'm coming back to get that drive again.

I love these videos so much. I can't help but watch them everyday. I raise the volume loud on my headphones so it really feels like I was there. Sometimes when I feel tired or don't feel like doing anything, I listen to these to change my mind and to push myself even harder thn I already do.
