Fucking amazing set!! My fave DJ since i was a teenage youngin'......i'm 42 now & i still love Acid Techno as much as ever, especially London style which of course Chris is a pioneer & legend in that scene!! Remember seeing the Liberator DJ's (Chris, Julian & Aaron) at a Freedom Sound night at Enzo's nightclub in Salisbury in 1998 i think......amazing messy night's!! I fucking love 303's, best sound in the Universe!! Keep the Acid comin' Chris, hopefully for decades!! 🤘🏻🤪🤘🏻
Never an amazing set from Chris... Great tunes but he's mostly out of time and he brings the next record in so sloppy and then he's having to catch up with himself. Acid Techno is one of the easiest genres to mix so he should sound amazing but he never cues the tunes in straight off the break on the one (first beat) so he will always be out of time because the track he's bringing in is behind the other and not synced properly even if the pitch is pretty much spot on.
He has no amazing skills at all as his mixing is mostly out of time. Even a guy i know back home called Scott (DJ Phophet) was loads better!! Kept it in time and pitched well.
Going to the 414 in Coldharbour Lane in the late 90’s when the Liberators were on the decks was the most fun I’ve had with my trousers on. It’s great to see Chris is still going strong after all these years and still loving his work.
Awesome set... The guy is out of time 90% of his mixing! Yes the tunes are awesome but his sets are painful to listen to because of his dodgy sloppy skills.
Chris you are the best! Greetings from Argentina. A pleasure to have shared the party with you! and the after in my house, do you remember? Thankful. FRANCES
Fucking great - somehow simultaneously bouncy as fuck and hard as nails all atthe same time... oh for a 6am warehouse to stomp around in, enjoying the the big open spaces at the back...
Vinyl has a much more thick DB range on the bottom... is deep yo. Modern tech has come along way to balance digital/ CD sound to vinyl but on the intro of CDJ’s mixing a CD tune with a vinyl rec was troublesome as CDs just had no bottom range to compare to the vinyl presses
Vinyl always seems to sound thicker and warmer to me. I'm not a vinyl snob by any means but I'm blown away how good some records I own sound compared to the digital version. If it's been mastered well then it's a real treat
@@DischordInMyHead You're the absolute goat, thank you so much, I've been searching through all rebeltek EPs, Corrosive EPs, OB1 songs, dark marc songs... thank you sooo much !
