Hi,
My name is Kerry, and I am 28, living in our own home with my husband and 2 kids. Don't feel sad Kerry, you're doing the most sensible thing rather than getting into debt. You're amazing at building up challenges anyway so you'll be back in no time. Sometimes it's nice to start from scratch too - new home, new challenges! Missing your videos though I hope you get your house all sorted soon 🤣

Do what you need to do Kerry. Your life with your family comes first! At least you had the money you need in your binders & didn't have to go into debt to fund things....so be proud of yourself 😊 You'll come back to YT when you're ready. I'm taking a mini break myself because my own life has thrown me a curve ball. You & I may be down at the moment but we are certainly not out!! xx

That's what the savings are there for, to stop you having dedt. Once the work is done, you'll be able to build your money back up again while enjoying your new home. See it as a fresh start for your savings. ❤❤❤❤

It must of been devastating having to take the money from your challenges but at least you can say you've done it and not had to dip into sinking funds or emergency etc so well done. Had to to exactly the same 12 months ago when we moved - it broke my heart emptying my binders but needs must, there was so much we wanted/needed to do in the house and now 12 months later we are happy in our new home & the binders are starting to be filled up again - take a deep breath & enjoy the fact that you had the money & didn’t need to go into debt to get your dream home. You will soon build up your savings - enjoy 💋💋🌹

The money is there to be used, I know it sucks to use but better than debt. Easier to do stuff before you move in, I had 2 rooms painted in my condo before I moved in because I knew it’d take forever to do if I didn’t. Great video Kerry 💕

I had to do this last month and it was heart breaking but like you say needs must and I'm just glad I had the money there to do it. Houses do cost us so much don't they Lol I just keep telling myself this extension will all be worth it in the end

Thank you for posting this. I used some of my emergency fund to get the house complete. I have been feeling a little bit guilty over but I still have money in my EF and got the house complete without going into more debt x

It's scary how quickly the money gets swallowed isn't it 😢 Absolutely understandable needing to fold challenges and envelopes to fund things. It's much better than debt/overdraft/credit cards etc. Hope things improve soon and you're all in your lovely new home 🩷
