Oh my God!!! I won't call the ending rubbish or bad.. I ll just say it's sad, but rare... Most of these Chinese dramas end with unnecessary happy endings where the FL forgave the abuser... And everything is fine and good.. but here, there is deep regret and pain... So for me I ll rate it 8/10

I think the ending is good. It really makes me feel better. I hate endings wherein the girl, after being horribly mistreated, just forgives the male lead because the male lead discovered the truth or might have saved the girl and almost died-- rubbish! I wish there will be more stories with ending like this.

Loved the ending FINALLY the FL didnt forgive his ML ass for what he did as most of these type of drama and chose her own way out.

Oooooh this lit up my anger. I am glad it's a unique ending where FL doesn't just forgive the ML but it sucks that she had to die. I don't know, he's just such a crappy character. She had the bracelet on the first day, he even grabbed that wrist but didn't notice. FL even told him the whole story about the scar, the bracelet, how she lost it and was about to give his name when Yari said she didn't remember. So he's willing to believe someone who has the bracelet, a bracelet that can be stolen or replicated, over the person who had the ACTUAL STORY and memories?!?!?!??!! He should've never treated her that way in the first place, even if it's an arranged marriage and you love someone else, treat her with damn respect. She's still human but no. Then when he even thought she could be Ivory and had his doubts about Yari he STILL couldn't be bothered to somewhat treat her well?! He deserved all the pain he got. I am so glad she straight up told him, it doesn't matter what he says anymore that she won't trust in him. She begged him over and over to believe her. She was PREGNANT, and he couldn't even hear her out. Wendy straight up said hey these two are lying to you. FL said hey dude, this scar is bright red and NEW, Ivory's scar would be OLD and healed! It's been 15 years and he still didn't believe her. He's a literal idiot who by that point was willfully ignoring the truth just to cry about it laer.

this show has the shittiest characters ever holy- male lead ain’t even hot, and i don’t care even if he tries to make amends. whether she’s the one he’s looking for or not, he shouldn’t treat someone like that 💀

I guess the script writers were saying that most abused women commit suicide because in their world, it's the only freedom from their pain and suffering. Everyone she loved used her, and they told her she was useless, worthless, and damaged goods. It's a picture of the dark road abused women walk down being told that they would never be loved. This is the dark, unspoken truth for many. At least they didn't glorify the ML by saying I'm sorry I was so mean and cruel to you. Give me another chance and they live happily ever after. ABUSERS never change! They appear to be until the next fit of anger 👿

Meaning there is no rewind in life, we should be knowledgeable to see whats right and wrong... Dont just relay on the drama, you should see the message of the story

All these short dramas have bad acting, lack of wardrobe, violence against women, millionaire families who sell their daughters and doctors that doesn't look/act like doctors at all...But curiosity makes you watch it because you want to know how it will ends😂😂

Down to her playing the violin, her having the scar, and bracelet all should’ve been enough proof she was the original Ivory yet he still didn’t believe her and treated her so badly too the point it drove her to commit poor Ivory I wished she would’ve gotten a better ending with her child and another man but it’s overall a good story

This is a lesson learned.Be flexible to everything,don’t be angry at all times.try to understand and feel what’s going on around you.

Wow, what an ending. I’m glad I read the comments so I was prepared and I’m also glad it wasn’t a happy ending. I hate when the toxic ML gets the FL, especially if he made her suffer terribly and he doesn’t suffer any retribution with the bad guys. The one thing he longed for was Ivory and his arrogance prevented him seeing her right under his nose. The all mighty CEO was fooled once again because he didn’t do his due diligence. I just wish she didn’t die. Honestly her unhappy life stemmed from him, we should have seen a glimpse of her reborn but into a happy life.

Finally found it. These short budget asian dramas are decent and good storylines.

After 15 years why let them die what were we to get out of all this they were kids when the drama and promises happened. If he would have simply had the scars check, ask her what his dad looked like what his mom looked like what his dad did to his mom any details only Ivory would have known at that moment would have been proof of whoses who. If ivory would have open her mouth the first time mention her bracelet was missing answers his questions bout why she was given the bracelet when she had a chance alot would have been voided

Yeah, I've had enough. In the very beginning, he saw her wearing the jewelry, and she played the instrument, and she had the injury. I can't. This movie should've ended in the 1st 15 minutes.

We don't live in a century where a person have to pledge himself for a savior. If that was the case policeman and soldiers in army would have multiple wives😂😂😂. Repaying a savior can be done in other ways as well. This drama not only tortures the FL but also the audience. A guy who couldn't protect his wife from other evil around him and he couldn't even identify them. I don't understand why a guy like this has to be a powerful person. It doesn't goes with any leadership quality. I am glad for the ending ❤.

What a sad ending. The FL did her best to be seen, noticed and recognize by the ML but he kept on disappointing her and never believed her. Too much abuse and enemies for the FL. Tragic ending😢

As tragic as this story is the ending is finally a change of pace and acceptable. Would prefer the FL to have found peace in life, but finding it in death makes sense in this specific story. The ML had absolutely no redeeming quality so the ending befits him completely. Saddest part to me is after what they lived thru as children that the bond as adults was completely broken due to ML utter lack of trust in himself ultimately bc if he’d had some faith in his instincts he would have investigated his doubts and probably been able to redeem (huge maybe) himself. The acting was great.

😂 He had to suffer more for everything the girl suffered because he decided to trust people who appeared with no memories of them together but mistreated someone who even had the talent for the violin.

“I never thought of hurting you, I love you.” says the man who hurt her throughout the whole drama. 😒 It was hard seeing how determined she was to end her pain but it was especially hard to see her apologizing to her younger self and telling her to not save the boy- a lot of times FL’s don’t regret saving the ML however they’ll tell them to not find them in the next life, here though, she regrets even saving him as a boy which I have to say… though sad, it’s about dang time that happened in one of these short drama(s). She seen his true self and regretted- the ending was hard; he pushed her to that point, pushed her to a shell of herself. Honestly, the nerve of him to even go up there to try and talk her down but also, the nerve to let his evil wife to be follow- there might’ve been a bit of hope if he never came but him and his soon to be wife only made her more set in her decision.. she didn’t care to hear him speak, his words mean nothing to her, everything she had in him is long dead, he was her mistake and a mistake should never be in someone line of sight during a time of life or death. Although I don’t know her name, I adore the actress who plays the FL- I’ve seen many of her short dramas and she always portrays the character she is playing beautifully, she just truly sells the story. Though I’ve seen the actor who plays the ML in a few dramas they do tend to be a hit or miss however he did wonderful here, I mean, I was frustrated with at the beginning but as the story progress I was hating the character. It’s nice to see the progress, 😊. The actress who plays the SFL plays a lot of the same character, it’s always one that I can’t stand 😂- sometimes she’s good sometimes she isn’t, hard to get a solid take on her acting when she sticks to a certain role that she either does good in or doesn’t. A lot of the same here but she did okay; everyone did a good job so nice job team. 😊

Soooo… he didn’t see the bracelet fall literally on the floor right in front of him after Wendy tried to “teach her a lesson” in his office or when HE chocked/knocked her down in the conference room? She can play the violin, she has the scar and knows how she got it, she has injuries from the accident(left ear) and she even resembles the little girl. But, I guess since she didn’t get the chance to say who the boy’s name was, that’s it? Why do the MLs always do that? The proof be in their faces, but once another girl shows up pretending to be the long lost love, he goes with it… forgets his gut instincts and the REAL evidence he got from the FL. How about you start with investigating ALL the women and go from there. I’m almost halfway through, but based off of the comments, seems like the ML made the same stupid decision as always and chose to believe the villainess instead of the FL. Then treats her like crap and regrets it later😒

The ending throw me for a loop. I love that the picked a out of the box ending 😊 it's been a long time since on we of these types of ending. I rate it a 8.5/10. If anything I would have wished ivory would have had her moment of face slapping and get back other than loosing everything.
