Marasy's amazing piano cover sounding very tense, dramatic. To make you understand the backstory of the E9 gang and why the situation is critical for them. Excelent music choice from devs

I teared up when this started playing. For all the griminess of the gacha mechanics, whoever created the Hifuu content has an obvious love for the series and I'm here for it.

YESSIR!!! HERE IT IS!! Sariel may come to Lost Word if PC98 Reimu and Marisa comes to LW. THE GOOD THING ABOUT IT, it’s that their PC98 design are already been drawn by LW and they only appear as characters for the build up of Hifuu, but we WILL get them eventually… someday… :(

For some reason, this theme is giving me the vibe of an old but terrifying threat coming back and reminding the heroes how menacing they are even after what they've been through.

This could be like some sort of buildup to a boss battle Edit: That, or it is a boss theme in and of itself. Or, it could be like a sad moment in a game.

Well sariel does have a phase 2 with a second theme so it's possible

This made me realize a crucial detail. Out of ALL PC-98 characters, only Marisa and Alice were ever reused in the Windows Era. (not counting Reimu, obviously.) Unless there’s another I forgot. Edit: Imagine forgetting Yuuka. Couldn’t be me frfr.

Listening to this theme in the actual event... I consider it might be a sign of something... What if Sariel comes out?

Look I can see it happening. So far we've had Reimu, Marisa, Shinki, Mima, Yuuka, Alice, Chiyuri, and Yumemi with full designs. And Gengetsu and Mugetsu name dropped. It wouldn't surprise me if Sariel showed up in say.... Patchouli's Ruins of Memory Edit: OK SO APPARENTLY GENGETSU AND MUGETSU FINALLY HAVE FULL APPEARANCES ON SDT 400! I should really go ham on the tower to get 70 floors in a few days next time it comes around
