My question is as the leader of group you got any advice you can give me for being OIC / 1IC the group you have under let’s say your friends and what not , Milsim enjoyers , how to strategize and have them in the right places where you know thell be instead I got 4 guys guarding a door not on the point and 1 guy on point is reloading the SAW 😢there all assassins don’t get me wrong I need assets not liabilities 😂no my group they solid it’s just the communication needs work and come across more accidents blue on blue because of bad comms also we send too much traffic , does the comms come over time with less experienced players or it’s really the group of ppl you have that are just experienced in that like vets and pro gamers /Milsimers
@@M4A1_DELTA6 honestly, do a "training session". a small mission where nobody needs to get sweaty, with the focus being how to use a radio and how to just shut up with chit chat when it matters. tell them they should imagine a football team playing a game, even if it's not some high league paid sponsorship stuff, during the match they don't walk around taking a stroll on the field to talk about their feelings. that happens afterwards.
Time together and practice seeing what comms works and what doesn't. The team has to *want* to do better as well. I ran a bit on 7cav's public A2 server years ago and it was *very* clear who was and who wasn't regularly there. They also kept fairly strict comms requirements for air assets, etc. Wasn't anywhere near as clean as shacktac, particularly being on the public server side of things, but those who put in the work to *both* listen *and* give good, timely, comms stood out. Right at the start of this video there's a big, subtle, hint in how shacktac maintains it. In that particular instance, the topic is keeping ready for mobility at a moment's notice, but it's something they tend to rely on across the board for keeping the balance of the right amount of serious in their "serious fun" mantra.
