My uncle !!! Till today I didn't know this side of him .he is a real hero ....may the Almighty God grant you peace in your life coz it's the most precious gift!!!!
Wooow! I am happy for you Mary. He was once invited as the guest of honour in my former High school, MFA back between year '00-'02. I remember our two music teachers had composed a very beautiful song for him. I did not understand then that he was a general of greatness. May Almighty God bless him and his seed. 😀 Blessed are the peacekeepers for they will be called children of God.

Good job Lt.General,we appreciate your contribution towards peacekeeping process,though it was your assignment it would never have succeed if,you didn't have those people at heart,determination,organization,military tactics and greatest of all God's guidance on your side.
I used to admire this General since he was Brigadier. I could follow up his updates and times I would wonder why he was not appointed Chief of General staff.

When i was in Moi university around the same time while he was in mission, i read almost a 2 page article about him…. And his name stuck in my mind till date

Indeed any dunderheards can became President,Mp,Governor or senator but not General.....General is a title that comes with focus,Deidication ,discpline,dignity and intergrity
This man and other like him can easily cool the unrest in Kapedo,Baringo,laikipia,Marsabit ,Wajir,Isiolo,Nakuru etc but the government can't reason that way
It's ironic how a Kenyan General could conduct a disarmament in the farthest darkest corners of Africa while in his home country Kenya banditry and cattle russling by armed Pokot, Samburu and Turkana is still rampant!
