A real yeoman's job if there was one. That car's undercarriage is filthy and caked with 73 years of crud. Once you get the brakes done it would be wise to pressure wash everything underneath as there are about 40+ undercarriage lube points per factory manual and you won't get to them without a good cleaning first. You have a splendid old car. Packard was sometimes referred to as "the American Rolls-Royce." It's interesting how you can actually repair this car and not just replace parts, but that's the way they designed it.
