and i believe they can't do a high somersault (in the previous games you could do it by first pressing the attack button and then jump while tilting the left control stick in a direction you want to jump to)

Well, The Last Jedi was still shooting around the time the game was released.

Todd Gander that’s exactly my problem with this game. The recycled animations just looks blah. The other thing I hate is there’s no actual lightsaber ignition or retraction animation. Just immediately pulling the saber out. It’s those small things that make a lego game worth replaying. Plus in the first few games there was a front half flip if you swung and jumped. These changes would be a good idea to implement. I think the clone wars game did this the best.

Well it’s a series that has over 100+ characters everytime. Making unique animations for all of them would be ludicrous.

@@woahwoah2207 Actually Obi Wan's animations are shared by four other Jedi in the original game.

@WillFanofMany Still better than this. Even windu had unique animations and he's not a main character at all. Young obi wan had different animation than his odler version, Anakin had different animations than vader the only ones that were the same were the random jedis that you buy after the geonosis mission.

All of these characters are just gonna be in the skywalker saga

@@Dantelor i can't say lego star wars tfa is the BEST game, but it's up there. Good graphics, generally unique gameplay mechanics, main issue in my opinion is bugs (like any other lego game to ever exist)

99% of fights dont have cape/cloaks.. so it didnt really make sense to begin with.

@@tTaseric Because they needed a weapon, ghosts without any weapons would make for some pretty dull characters. Ghosts with lightsabers are cool. Also, they kept the clothes, why can't they also keep the lightsabers?

@LegoMei Exactly, but I'm not talking about the character, I'm talking about his combat animation, which is the same as in LEGO Star Wars III, instead the normal Anakin in the game has different animations, If i spell something wrong, I'm sorry, I'm still learning English xd
