This feature has been in the game since Volume 2 update, but it's not available to end user and even if you make it available, it won't do anything just because it's broken and unusable as of now.
To access this hidden feature, you need to use Frosty Editor 1.0.7 and set EnableMultipleSaveSlots tweakable asset's value from 0 to 1.
