I absolutely can't wait to make this with wooden blocks to spell baby. Obviously in the portrait position. It is simply stunning Sam. Congratulations on another great job. 👶
What a lovely card! I am so happy that you design all these cards and 3d projects for us. Because i love to make them all but i am not creative enough to think of new things myself 😊 So thank you for sharing your talent with us!
Truly, the more you experiment with & assemble them, your original ideas will come. Both my mom and I took Art classes in college which helped us view images & objects differently. In one of my Mom's assignments, the teacher told her to clip a photo of a person from a magazine, cut it into about 5-7 randomly shaped pieces, rearrange them on another piece out of order, and draw it as is. What that forces you to do is see each section as merely a collection of shapes, hues, & lines rather than looking at the image of the person. Concentrating on the person's face can be distracting because you're focusing on making it look like the person rather than the actual elements that make the photograph resemble the person. Applying that same idea, if you make a card & turn it around - upside down, sideways, vary the sizing or the colors - you can sometimes see shapes or elements that suggest things other than what they may look in another direction - (ex/ steps may look like shutters in a different position). Just takes a little practice and experimentation. You can do it! :D
@@comedygumballmachine4748 I think I will try looking at it that way. For some people it comes more natural than for others ;-) Thank you for your kind words!
Wow! I always look forward to seeing what kind of card you will come up with next. You never fail to amaze me. Well done for another spectacular creation.
LOVE THIS! I've got to go downstairs & create it step-by-step, with your video! Thank you for the inspiration and for taking the time to make the video! ♥️
Yeah just had a go with random spare paper had to watch you putting it together as was getting confused lol came together brilliantly thank you for a brilliant card will keep this one as my template
So glad you did this! I have some pre cut concertina cards but didn't like how they looked left open. Putting them into a base like you did looks so nice. Now I am actually looking forward to using these up. Tfs x
Gorgeous! Just Fantastic display piece with endless possibilities! TY, too, for modifying it to a 5 X 7. Like you, I prefer larger cards - seems pointless otherwise using a dinkie little scrap to share a sentiment! ;D
Absolutely brilliant! Fabulous papers! I haven't made a concertina card in quite a while. Thanks for inspiring me with this fun card! I wish I could get the paper stack. I can't wait for your next video!
Awesome card! Thanks for sharing. I'm very new to card making and have been making A2 sized cards. Would you by chance have the measurements for that size to be able to do something similar?
What a lovely fantastic card! Thanks for sharing! I love the size too! Also FYI the link you refer to, doesn't come up :) Have a great day! I always look forward to your videos
