Unusual Situation Found in Our Pasture! Unsolved! 

My heart is breaking for Eleanor. She is such a sweetheart and we have seen how they mourn losses from last year. Take care, Princess😢

It was so special when Big Joe paid respects to Eleanor's calf but when Hoss came over I just about lost it. I'm sending hugs to the whole family.

As soon as you saw a Red Dog on the ground and not moving, my very first thought was 'I hope it isn't Eleanor's baby'. I could have cried when you saw her and knew it was, indeed, her baby. There's something truly wonderful about her. So sorry for your loss.

Losing this calf is heartbreaking for Eleanor. I feel so bad for her. It’s amazing to me to see the other bison visiting the deceased red dog - just like humans do when we lose a family member.

My first thought too was please don’t let it be Eleanor’s baby. I personally want to say thank you Dusty and Marissa for allowing Eleanor to have a permanent home. This is only one small reason why I follow and don’t miss a video. I’ve been here since the beginning even though I’m not much of a comment person. Your gigantic heart shines in everything you do. The bison respond to the kind way you treat them. Thank you for all you do. I adore you and your family Dusty and wish you all the very best, always. ❤

Oh Dusty, last year I cried for Belle star, this year I’m crying for sweet Eleanor. Eleanor is an amazing Bison, she has a sweet special way about her and my heart is breaking. No one should speculate on the loss of the calf, it’s in the past now and let’s leave it in the past, speculation helps nothing. Focus on the future and the red dogs that are thriving and there will be more on the way. Every calf lost hits hard in the heart and it’s something that we can’t explain or predict. You have a healthy herd, which is something to be proud of. Much love to all, including sweet Eleanor. ❤️🇨🇦❤️
