Toyota Racing announced its famed sports car will return to production and compete in NASCAR in a press conference at Daytona International Speedway on Thursday, July 5 with Toyota Racing drivers Kyle Busch and Christopher Bell, along with TRD, U.S.A. (Toyota Racing Development) president David Wilson and Toyota Motor North America group VP of Toyota Division Marketing Ed Laukes.

And I have mixed opinions. It all started with families going off to NASCAR races to find out which car is the most durable to figure out which car should they actually buy, that way every car owner had at least SOME interest in this sport.

Glad they're bringing back a two door for Toyota, sports cars don't come in four door sedans. Marketing people have everybody convinced that a four-door car is a four-door sport sedan. A four-door is just a family car
