congrats on 3k! i recently got a pied ball python, claire, im totally new to the snake scene and watching your videos have been super helpful! keep up the good work man!
It could so long as I keep it dry for sure. I always worry with Aspen molding but I did once use it a long while ago. I love it for my hogs however and they love to burrow in it. With that said I don't have much issues with the paper towel. We also have clutter in the tubs that helps but we take them out for videos or it would be a little counter productive to showing the animals lol. Thanks for watching :)
Geeat Content! Congrats. I like your pastel dbl het monarch and gs. I hatched a female pastel two yrs ago and going this season and and she looks like a twin of your female. I'm enjoying your MM auction series 🎉
Thank you! We are located in Northwest Indiana where the weather is always extreme. There is a joke that we can experience all 4 season in one day and honestly it's not too far off lol.
Grats on 3k! I've been enjoying your weekend auction spotlight videos especially. I've had colubrids for many years now but I bought a couple BP girls this year to dabble with some combos I enjoy, and the weekly reminder to keep an eye out for stuff I want to plug into the project is helpful.
Thanks! And I am glad those videos are helpful! Speaking of colubrids, I actually plan to add hognoses to those auctions soon but there are not always ones up for auction ending in the time frame. And good luck with your breeding projects in the future!
Monarch goes well with a whole lot. I imagine lace would work similar to how Desert ghost would be in Monarch which had actually been made :) Since Monarch already cleans up the morph it seemed to brighten up the snake in that case. I feel like with leopard or another dark gene it could be very cool!
Hi I am your subscriber. Hope you are doing well. I am from india and I am going to get a new ball python, I am a little confused about the temperature. Here in india the room temperature is somewhere around 30 to 35 degrees celcius which is 90 degrees Fahrenheit do we need to have a heating elememt such as a heat pad, ceramic heater or a heating bulb . Or is it fine to leave it in the enclosure without any heating element ? Need your suggestions here mate . Hoping for the response.
Hi there and thanks for supporting the channel! Well if the room temperature is 90 everywhere I would say you still should have it as a backup but it might not need to be on at all times. A thermostat controlling the heating would ultimately keep the heat off most the time anyways. You should have a temperature gun to accurately measure the temperature in the enclosure. to make sure it is 89 to 90 where they are. If anything possibly find a way to have a cool side with damp towels / substrate and making sure you have a fair amount of air exchange like a mesh lid over the cool side, or venting holes if using tubs. With all of that said I am certainly no expert on that kind of climate without temperature control systems. I actually looked and there are some RU-vidrs from India that I seen uploads for talking about care in India. That could be an incredible resource to help you out as well :) Thanks again so much for watching and hope this was helpful for you!
