Rougly speaking, what does the expression corner cornering mean? I think I get the meaning from the context, but I want a Kenyan to tell me as it's your expression. I like it, by the way, based on what I think it means😂. Good story CK. In my country in the Caribbean, we don't have any such thing as dowry. You meet fall in love, date, engage get married in a church or at the court house and have children(not necessarily in that order). We don't call someone our wife unless we're officially married. We say my girlfriend, my woman or very rarely common-law wife.
Corner conerning means, not being straight on a decision ( in my context I meant instead of someone just giving you a yes or no answer, they keep you waiting for an answer. So that way you can say they're just coner conerning instead of being straight on giving you a yes or no answer.
