@@GetOutArizona i really love the comfortability of domane al4 so I hope im not compromising it with the checkpoint sl5, will get it today in a few hours lol. If there's a huge difference then i'll just buy the domane sl5 as well and turn it into a legit roadie lol
@@ryanmuabeu, the longest ride I have is 58 miles mixed surface. That is a full-on trail, graded fire Road, and asphalt. The checkpoint handled everything amazingly well. You'll be pleased with it. I will increase the size of my next set of tires, go full-on gravel and trail with the checkpoint, and purchase a Domane or Madone for the road.

There's a lot of brands available on my area but I dont know, for me Trek has great looks or cosmetics in their bikes no matter what budget you have. I will let you know once I got my checkpoint and as always, you're reviews have been very helpful ( or not ) as I kinda wanted to have all the series lol. Checkpoint, Domane, Emonda or Madone 😁

I ordered mine this week. The grey color that is on the video is already sold out nationwide. So I settled for the darker color with the orange letters. I ordered a 56 cm because my last two Madones were 56 and they fit me perfectly. I was also told the frame sizes should be identical to the GEN 6. Great interview. Great chemistry. We only got 2 of these in size 58 down here in New Zealand, and I just secured one of them. Going from the mid-spec Domane to this is going be knife-edge riding for a while….

when you suggest to check sizing / fit, do you mean these are bigger than labelled or smaller? e.g., if you are normally 56 would you be a 54 or 58 on this
This is a great question. Thank you for asking. The geometry is more aggressive than that of a Domane, so riding a 56CM in a Domane may feel different than riding a 56CM on the Madone. I have always been a 56, and yet, on some bikes, 56 feels a shade small. It's usually the geometry, and with a few tweaks, the fit is perfect. I hope this answer is helpful for you. @@UltimateTuner10 It's more of a dark copper color, to be honest. It's pretty smooth. I would send photos, but I am leaving for several weeks for three different assignments. If I happen upon one during my travels, I will reach out and let you know.
Oh boy, where do I Begin? Well, yes, the Madone is beautiful, and the way you presented. It was great up on a table unlike most reviewers put it on the ground. But other than that, you guys hate to say it but u made yourselves look bad. You said you built the bike up in shop but you really didn’t know anything about it not even where the battery goes. Most of us that are interested in the madone gen7 have already done a lot of research and know a lot about it. I do like your reviews and how you present yourselves as kind of kick back every day guys but you really do need to do a little more research before you present a bike. 👊
