I cannot thank you enough for this video. I'm in the midst of a platform selection and future choices for IoT and MES functions for a couple of companies and was having a lot of questions about where to position Tulip. You nearly asked all the questions I wanted to ask them! This is an absolute game changer in the approach we can take with companies towards selecting a platform to support their digital transformation and increase their digital maturity at an accelerated pace. Getting those first use case in quickly and easily (at an affordable price) but being able to do that on a platform that scales well and gives the customer "ownership and access" to the solution built is paramount to get the conversation and education started.

Great insight into the current and future potential of Tulip! Thanks for sharing! Question: Can Tulip implement your world's largest SCADA project in the same timeframe and budget? 40,000 Devices 14,000 Sites 2,000 Concurrent Users 1 Centralized Server 11 Million Tags 2 Millions Alarms Per Day 18 Months $1.6 Million 19 Developers

While Tulip is not a SCADA solution, we work with Kepware, Highbyte, and others to make the data from those machines, sensors, and devices accessible to those working on the shop floor.

@@TulipInterfacesThanks for the reply. Please provide an answer, even a ballpark figure, of how much a system like this would cost and how long it would take in Tulip. Walker uses this Ignition based example to compare with other Platforms.

Totally agree with the idea of integration with an existing, mature, application platform. Native integration with System Platform, OSISOFT PI, GE etc.

Love what Tulip are doing. I see a lot of citizen developers on the floor these days empowered by scanners, QR codes and Google Sheets!

Its an impressive group of people, impressive platform and they have some pretty incredible announcements coming up later in the summer (that we didn't have permission to share -- however, I think everyone will be quite excited)!

So important to empower the people closest to the problems! What roles are you most commonly seeing as citizen developers??
@JeffRankinenAmyJoey
@JeffRankinenAmyJoey Год назад
@@TulipInterfaces I teach at Penn College. I consider students in the "citizen developer" category. We have traditional automation using Rockwell Automation and Siemens. Industry 4.0 automation using Ignition, Canary Labs and soon FrameworX. The latter installs are from generous donations and the free trial mode is great for off campus use. How can Middle Schoolers through College use and learn Tulip?

@@JeffRankinenAmyJoey this is a great question. We offer Tulip at no cost to educational institutions and are happy to collaborate on any number of projects with faculty and students. Happy to discuss more.
