@@scrollsofazerothi love wow lore vids and subs three channels, yours is the best I think. Especially monotone voice is good, and youre not rushing the monologue which is key. I also like the quizzical pauses where you ponder hypothesis's 😂
@scrollsofazeroth trust me, as a fellow monotone voice haver, it is a godsend you have the confidence to make these videos. No offense to any creators, but a lot of other channels either try way to hard to sound professional, or use AI speech models which are awful to listen to. Having a monotone reading voice for videos like these fills a niche wow lore desperately needs, it gives the video a campfire feeling, something you can sit back and relax to like a chat with a friend.
@@shimapanzer9930 Interesting, always thought my voice would be too boring, but it is good to know that isn't the case, hadn't really looked around at too many other creators, but always thought i'd have to put more emotion behind it for doing videos like this but i'm glad i was wrong. Thanks for the kind words :)
Hopefully everyone enjoys! the "My Confusion" section discusses the confusion between the wiki and the Chronicles book, but I kept both versions in the video cause i figured some people may want to know the different sources. This video was putting my computer to the test so I'm glad it is done and I'm hoping I didn't miss anything major, but I hope everyone has a good week and thanks again for all the support!
I mean it could be something like how in a history book it may say that America has entered the war not literally saying that the country uprooted itself and brought itself to Europe but that America i.e. the forces of America have entered the war
The confusion is understandable, I believe there are indeed a mixed info due to many retcons. Like, I recall reading warcraft lore more than 15 years ago, and the canon was that it was Titans who reordered the Azeroth, and the titanforged were created to help and maintain it. And the Well of Eternity was a powersource they created to use for that purpose. Then the whole "titan egg" plotline was introduced. Then Yasharaj was intruduced(Although the number of the gods were established beforehand, the plot of titans killing the old god was not established), and well of eternity became a wound of the Azeroth's titan. They also did retcon that we, players actually killed the gods, didnt they? Even though Titans could not kill them as it risked hurting the Azeroth. Idk, its all over the place if you ask me.
@@concernedcitizen9023 As long as i'm not alone in the confusion lol. Yeah i figured it would be mostly due to retcons and just the fact that the game has been out for so long that things have changed, but that is why i threw in both and explained so people knew. Thanks for letting me know!
@@HenryGengler Absolutely, there is definitely multiple reasons that it could be in a lore perspective and just a real life perspective, but it was just confusing as hell when I was trying to figure out what was correct and such lol, but I hope i made it make sense
@@scrollsofazerothOne of the better things they did recently is hint on the "unreliable narator" trope with the primalists talking about "The titans lie". If they indeed lying or hiding something, it could tie neatly with the lore inconsistencies. Depending on what exactly do they have in mind, ofc.
Thanks! It was difficult for sure especially with trying to figure out what was made by the titans and what was made by the keepers since I kept getting contradictory info so I did my best lol
Thank you! I’m glad you enjoy them :), I enjoy making them and learning all this myself. Although I don’t always retain the info I can always listen to my own videos if I space on stuff lol
There is one thing i cant get with Tyr, Arkaedas and Iron Aja. If the world was really shatterd like the titans told us, how did they all get to the eastern kindom from northend? they had to swim or build many ships in a short time.
I want to say that the Sundering happened after they traveled from Northrend to Eastern Kingdom, I can't remember exactly what i said in the video, but otherwise ships or possibly flying somehow. But i want to say that the Sundering happened after they did that travel
@@scrollsofazeroth of course. im stupid, for a moment i thought the sundering happend after aman´thul ripped off the old god, but it happend way later with the elfs. so it was still a big continent as they traveled .
I’ll be sure to keep a better eye on when words repeat in the future. Thanks for letting me know, I’m glad you weren’t doing a drinking game if that’s the case lol, but if you ever wanted to do a drinking game then you have a video to go back to at least, but just be sure your liver doesn’t die. I’d feel bad if your liver died on my behalf.
