It's been a while since my last comment on your videos, but I'm here to thank you for teaching me both how to safely cut down a tree that I can tackle myself and how to figure out when I'd better hire a specialist instead. Not long ago I had to remove a some poplars from the edge of a property, all about 30 to 40 feet high. I dropped 3 on my own but the last 2 were leaning over a fence and uncomfortably close to some power lines, so I hired a professional crew to remove them. It was fascinating to watch them work (not quite as meticulously as you do but well enough to avoid any damage) and surprisingly cheaper than I expected (a bit over $300 for both trees, without clearing the downed branches as I'm composting the wood on site).

I kept offering and offering to help but he didnt want any.

Just a bowline, it does wiggle out of shape a bit while handling "sterling atlas doesn't have the greatest knotability, still my favorite to rig with though" , so I dress it before every cut
