The reason they don't let you do this is simple. The dealer has time to correct any issues after "unwrapping" the car to clean, hide or repair imperfections while you are not there. Once they feel comfortable they will let you pick it up. If you would be doing unwrapping yourself this would open a discussion with every customer over some imperfections.
I have to disagree, maybe you are right but it would make sense that Porsche themselves checks the car before wrapping and delivering them, and maybe you can have the car shown to you unwrapped, but it doesn’t make sense for them to do a complete re-inspection and ruin the essence of a new car, that’s just me though.
@@jeffbezos-sj1be the cars are inspected and then wrapped, you are correct in that regard. But when it reaches the dealership it has gone trough some serious shipping by truck and boat so they have to check it again for damage that could have been caused during shipping.
I love cars in pristine condition. It is quite gratifying to observe it unveiled in this manner. I only wish that when someone invests such a substantial amount of money, they would be afforded the opportunity to personally experience this process. The technological advancements here are outstanding. I anticipate that the owner will have immense satisfaction driving this. ❤
if i get a car like that id have it unwrapped at the detailer, full paint correction and polish, ppf film, under carriage treatment, engine protection. Polish the wheels. mmmmm. Interior detail and fabric treatments, screen protectors for the gauge cluster and infotainment, protecting film on any piano black plastic. mmmm. I should just start a detailing company.
