In this episode, I discuss the impact that the book of Romans has made in my life. Particularly, Romans 12: 6-8. I love how the Apostle Paul tells us what God says; "We have different gifts, according to the grace given to us." Through sobriety, I have found so much grace!
I have discovered some talents of mine that were hidden for so long. Mainly because I turned to alcohol at such a young age. I lost my way, but I have slowly been able to regain my footing through my faith and sobriety. I have learned that I've got some good teaching abilities, I have more foresight about what the future holds, I serve better, I'm more encouraging, I give more generously, and I show more mercy to those around me.
If I had to pick one, it would be teacher, however. I'm able to take what I've learned and convey it in a way that resonates with people. That is a gift from God and something that I don't take lightly! I look forward to hearing what your passions are and how this information might impact your life!
