Foreigners whom do not have Canadian values are on the rise. They bring their religion Ways with them slowly changing the face of the country. I think you are correct. When a church in the West Bank went beyond its proper mandate and tried to make a political statement, it refused to celebrate Christmas and put a keffiyeh on a figure of the Christ child. OK, nobody knows exactlywhen Jesus was born, but I definitely sensed sour grapes! I thought the keffiyeh was a terrible idea, NOT because of any association with islam, but because NO believer should put country before God. That would be classified as idolatry. Born-again as opposed to nominal believers are citizens of Jesus' kingdom for eternity, and citizens of earthly nations only during our natural lives.

What is a 'first-rank university'? How does one define that? In my area of specializtion it was of middling rank, and I'd be surprised if there has been dramatic improvement, although I won't deny the possibility. . But an administration which cannot hold its own against a less-than-overwhelming mob of self-righteous young bigots, whose understanding of the paroramic context of Middle Eastern and Biblical history is virtually nil, is hardly deserving of respect. This continued occupation by firebrand supporters of islamic and pan-Arab colonialism and imperialism marks the victory of ignorance and conformism over dialogue and the search for truth. I'm not sure to which 'East' you refer. There are several possibilities which spring to mind.

And they should know that their problem is not at university authorities hands to be solved.
