UoN student Bernard Wangila who was arrested with alleged petrol can charged in court 

Benard Wangila Ojiambo, a University of Nairobi student who was arrested during yesterday's protest against the new funding model, has been formally charged. Ojiambo appeared before Senior Principal Magistrate Robin Ondiek to charges of including committing a felony. Ojiambo has pleaded not guilty to the charges. Ojiambo's bail application is set to be determined tomorrow. Despite the arrest, students remain resolute, vowing to continue their agitation for the removal of the controversial funding model.
