For anyone wanting to know about the Kooloobong accomodation here is a little tour of my living situation at UOW! I really like Kooloobong Village, and would definitely recommend Building 73 to anyone coming to UOW.
OMG I just had a little mid-life crisis and a cry over this video. About 30 years ago I moved into Kooloobong Building 75 when it was a little 4 bedroom bungalow (1 of 4) and in my last year I had two housemates from the US, one of which my wife and I (who I met at UOW and who lived in Kooloobong also) are still in touch with! When I found out via this video and subsequent googling that our beloved bungalows (we had to move around each year) had been replaced with apartment buildings I had a bit of an emotional reaction. We loved it there so much. One day my wife brought ducks from the pond back with her (like the pied piper but with bread!) and right into our living room which had glass sliding doors that lead onto the trail past the duck pond and into campus! You are lucky to not have the opportunity for this experience: we discovered that day that ducks just basically crap as they walk! Cleanup was miserable. Have you had any encounters with Huntsmen yet?! I remember great times there: parties, breaking away from mates who decided I’d “had enough” and running through the little valley between the car park and the bungalows yelling my head off, doubling back and bursting out of the bushes and scaring the crap out of them! Hi! Love this room tour! I am currently planning on attending UOW in the near future, but before I apply, I wanted to ask you what your experience has been with being an international student attending UOW as I am also an international student myself. Was there a lot to get used to? What were the biggest adjustments? Also, did you tour the school before attending? Or did you just go for it and apply and attend without touring? Thanks for any help or tips on this!
