Very normal for MMORPGs too. The best items in the game you have to kill the boss like 500 times or more to say you are at the drop rate, some people need to kill it 2000 times, other ones are fucking lucky and get it around 50 kills.

Ok but imagine Fern's clone. She literally invisible, no one can sense her. She's actually scary. Also Ubel's clone would probably kill/cut off someone's limb.

@@nether_prince3021 Seriously, we've got a Great Mage, a first grade mage, several experienced second and third grade mages (one of them Fern, who as you said is terrifying if she's not on your side)... so much for Sense being a friggin' pacifist, this could easily be a wholesale slaughter, if the contestants aren't careful. (And we don't even know if whatever's making them can make more than one of each... if it throws two Frierens at them, they're _definitely_ doomed...)

This is where teamwork becomes essential. Fern isn’t COMPLETELY indetectable. She would be terrifying for all the examinees who aren’t good at mana detection, but if there is someone in the group who is very good at mana detection and is more experienced in battle than Fern, than person can take Fern’s clone. Because the magic system has a certain element of rock-paper-scissors to it where certain abilities are just great matchups against others, properly dividing the group to face the clones is the key to survival. For example in Wirbel’s fight against their clones, Wirbel’s strategy was optimal. He had Scharf face his clone, because his flower petal ability has so many moving pieces it prevents the effective use of Sorganel, then had Ehre take on the Scharf clone, because she has the most mana in their group and can therefore overwhelm the Scharf clone’s petal swarms, and then had himself face the Ehre clone, because, as Ehre told Fern earlier, his superior battle experience gives him the edge over her one on one, despite her greater mana reserve. The examinees are going to have to join together like this to an even greater extent to take down all their clones.

I mean, if she has lived for more than a thousand years she visited a lot of dungeons and probably opened hundreds of mimics. She claimed that if it's not a mimic the loot inside is very cool so can you blame her? If she can free herself she should take the chance because by sheer amount of mimics opened she will eventually find valuable loot.

@@m3k569 Seriously, if she opens, on average, one potential mimic a year (and going by this episode the number might be much higher) that'll be at least ten times in her life she's gotten good loot out of it... and if the worst outcome is a bit of spit and a new hairdo... well, it's a good bet, I'd say.

That implies that only combat is practical. It is clearly much more useful than just that - you can make a field of medical herbs with it if you want. If only combat matters in your mind, I imagine speed growing poisonous plants would be quite powerful.

​@@dreammirrorbrony1240Ainz is technically more powerful, but pretty sure frieren can cast a few light and divine spells. A bit like you wouldn't expect Aqua to solo Ainz, but she is literally a Divine Being and bane of evil. Frieren would just deceive Ainz then roast him.

It's more a pacifist challenge in that she isn't pitting the mages against one another. As Denken mentioned, the test would have likely been easy had they all just teamed up.

Not only that, but Sense entered the dungeon too. Meaning there is also an experienced Full fledged First Class Mage clone roaming around the dungeon now.

Frieren can actually fight in many different styles, and she only taught Fern one of them (so far, anyways).

You know, she asked what it was, she asked what the clone was doing there. I considered it not an important plot point so I decided to answer the questions. You say I'm in the clear to answer when she doesn't get it after thinking about it some more but she most likely will have all the answers next week and she won't make another video about it until then, so when is this "okay to go for it" time supposed to be? I don't get your logic. Anyway, not like she looked at and answered my comment anyway.

We can answer stuff if everything is explained and she understood it wrong or if there was cut content that won't show up in future episodes. This was stuff that straight up wasn't revealed yet. If she finds out next week anyway, then wait for next week. If she's being dense and still doesn't get it then go ahead. If she isn't, then maybe you didn't have to say anything. Regardless of if you think it's a major spoiler or not still doesn't change the fact that it's a spoiler. At the very least put a disclaimer. With a disclaimer you can say whatever you want

No. He meant that the shield spell only worked best against Zoltraak but weak against mass-based attacks. Zoltraak, with the exception of the now-standard shield spell, pretty much still melts through anything.

Richter never said anything about him being able to easily block zoltraak with his magic. What he said is that ordinary defensive magic is strong against zoltraak but weak against mass-based attacks.
