My Video Log of the 2021 Pebble Beach Tour d'Elegance. These car start at the Pebble Beach Equestrian Center then we catch them at Garapada Beach for their journey down to Big Sur and also spend some time at the historic Bixie Bridge.
Richard Michael Owen you are the greatest😉. Thanks for allowing those of us that may never get to that side of the pond to get to see and do what we would love to through the lens of your camera.
Richard, apart from the BARCHETTA BARKETTA issue, i must really thank you so much for all these videos. Here in Italy we have been orphans for two years in a row of Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este where i used to go, and thanks to your videos i had the possibility to dream again for a while seeing the most rares classic cars in the world. And the images along the coast are really beautiful. I was impressed by your knowledge of all the models, you are really a "connaisseur" and you deserve it said in French
Eye candy indeed! Typical Pebble Beach sensory overload. (Almost) too much automotive pulchritude to take in in one go. I too, have an affinity for the unrestored, well worn look. They just seem so honest and attainable, at least in my dreams. Given your day job, I mean no offense, but where else would an E Type look not quite up to snuff? Thank you Richard, for yet another wonderful walk around car lover's heaven. If I may, barchetta (small boat) is pronounced with a hard "ch".
Great coverage Richard. Good composition, narration and resolution. Thanks for not panning all of the time and doing it slowly. Some others' videos are unwatchable due to panning too fast, resulting in dizziness.
Thanks for that, Richard Our local show has been cancelled two years running COC (cos of covid) . Nice to see people out and about again and great to see some cars as well.
Great Job Richard !!!. You passion expresses what we all are feeling. The Boyish (and Tomboy-ish) wonder we all have for these amazing works of engineering art !!!.
Wow! Great tour and camera work/narration. Did the Isle of Man TT in 2019; now this is on my bucket list! Nice to see so many early E-Types, but no roadsters, unfortunately.
@5:55 Two of my all-time favorite cars, side by side. I saw the Proto Iso Grifo at Blackhawk about 5 years ago and marveled at its incredible form. I was very surprised to see it at Pebble. Wore my finger out taking so may pics of it. Honestly, I don't see how the 2021 PBC can be topped unless you added a few Bizzarini's. Saw those several years ago. Another of my all-time fave.
Richard, that was absolutely amazing ! ! ! Great footage, unbelievable content and you definitely chose the correct chapeau for the occasion. Nicely done.
Richard, Really great capture! I love your enthusiasm it's contagious! So, where did you stay what hotel? How many months or years did you have to book your room? And what time did you actually arrive at the entrance to this event? Thanks Again!
OMG! What an amazing collection of cars 👌. Think I said "Wow!" even more times than you Richard 😊. Your breadth of knowledge is really impressive, along with your videography skills. Really appreciate you producing these for us, and thankful for your access and knowing where to get the good shots 👏👏. Say hello to Godfrey for me if you don't mind; haven't seen him in ages. Thanks again!
Sublime cars Richard, every one a work of art.... Do you know who`s 904 that was?? I helped work on one at a Historic Race meeting in Estoril, owned by a Gent called Laidlaw...... I also made a Leather chain fan belt for the "Swan" car... Which was shown on "Chasing Classic Cars"... Amazing vehicle.... :-)))
Hello Richard great videos all your videos of Pebble Beach!! Please take note “Ferrari Barchetta” pronunciation is Ferrari Barketta (in Italian language ch is pronounced like k). Ciao
@@RichardMichaelOwen Sorry, my English is not very good, do you mean that it is still owned by Luigi Chinetti son? a few years ago it was shown on the Waine Carini show
At 5:31 to 5:38 behind the 275 NART Spider there was a rare Bentley Coupé, can it be the Bentley Cresta built by F.A.C.E.L in cooperation with Pininfarina only two or three ever been built?!
Your video light is not set at daylight temperature, hence the orange cast reflected on the cars. Probably didn't need the light in the first place. Just saying...
Next year. BIG chuckle. Thanks, love your thinking. Imagine having the hutspa to have commissioned Zagato versions of those? There is a Zgato Topolino.
