Hi Gary, great videos and amazing channel as I use alot of your exercises and also I am a fan of your podcast. Just a question if you don't mind helping with. On your second game, where the 2 out of possession defenders outnumber the number 9 attacker who is looking for the pass from his team. How do you prevent the 2 defenders from just cutting off the number 9 completely from the incoming pass ?

Great question! I think you can approach this two ways. Firstly, you can offer a 'first pass free' option into the center forward so they can connect with midfielders. Or, if that becomes unrealistic, limit one defender to press and the other to provide cover. I'd approach it from that angle and try to implement one constraint that helps the forward but still makes it look like the situation you are re-creating.
