The sound car thing is just starting to trickle down to the cars. They are doing a really good job at it! Adds an extra amount of realism to the layout!
I know Im asking randomly but does anyone know a way to get back into an instagram account?? I stupidly lost my login password. I appreciate any help you can give me!
@Frank Issac I really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and I'm trying it out now. I see it takes quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Awesome review, I guess I'll have to purchase a new DCC controller in order to do advance consisting. I just use a Bachmann command controller, it has like 8 functions. What are you using for a controller?
$110 for a caboose !!?? Wow. Obviously @9:23 the end of the caboose has been bent up either while being built or during shipping. (China is a long ways away.) I've been in this hobby since 1965. I'm sorry but the sound(s) this caboose makes. .....and the electronics do NOT justify this kind of money. So, the interior lights up !! ......and all it shows is interior wires !! .....and oh yes, I forget, it also shows the 2 seats in the cupola. You wonder why the younger generations can not afford to get into the hobby ?? Here's your answer. Ridiculous. $110.
I fully agree. The price is very steep. I have to save up for awhile to be able to get anything nice. Then I’m scared to run it lol. Yea i guess you could say it was in an accident.
Agreed. What I don't understand is with all the improvements in electronics why it is so expensive. Of course, the rationale behind it is " look at the attention to prototypical accuracy", " check out the cool sounds and lighting effects, ooh". All that said, $110 is still too much to pay for a model caboose. $55-$65 seems more appropriate for a model like this.
I 100% agree with you. I’ll never do it again. I’d rather buy the $25-$30 roundhouse model and do the lighting myself. Sure, it won’t have sound but I personally don’t even need sound in it. I place a small led strip in there and done. All for maybe $5
