Bishop, I would like to thank you for sharing this interview with such wealth of wisdom expressed between 2 Brilliant Men. We are in a season when a lot of us are reinventing and challenging ourselves beyond measure in order to reach the goal that’s before us. We cannot allow our emotions to get in the way and forfeit for the vision board has now expanded beyond oneself to include others. We cannot deny them the opportunity but do the work, plant the seed and leave a harvest. Yes, we shall leave an inheritance. Though it gets heavy we must toil on we know and trust the Burden Bearer, Jesus Christ himself. He is our source.

Good day blessful ones in Christ Jesus I love the way that Bishop just said but a wise man will have a conversation and finish the conversation and leave the person be a woman or man each individual standing to deal with what you just said without getting into a fight didn't God tell us we fight not against flesh and blood but against spirits and principalities and high places then we would be prepared to give a answer to every man ???Jesus always taught us to study to show thyself approved not unto God Un to man dividing the word of Truth being able to give an answer to every man.!!!🙌🏽👌🏽👩🏽‍⚖🙏🏽📖💌

I can relate to this testimony in so many ways. My father even retired from Douglass in Torrance as well back in the 80' and 90's. I'm on the opposite spectrum of Brother Bryant. At 40, I had to graduate from the school of hard knocks. That's why God called me to start West Coast Rise Ministries as a way to bridge the gap between community, faith and social justice once and for all. This vision is HUGE, and I pray to have leaders on my board like you Brothers and so many others that I've learned from and studied. If it weren't for meditating daily on the scriptures while incarcerated and while free, I don't know where I would be. God has a plan, and this is the time, this is the place.

Arguing your perspective and leaving your adversary standing...This is as Oprah say un huh moment. Just because your adversary is trying to cut you (especially if they are your boss) I now know it does matter that they are still my boss. Everyone else who sees that assassination attempt by me, will know I will do the same to them. That was powerful to me thank you. I sabotaged my own career, and never understood how.

The Black people that come here from the Caribbean and Africa that John states is more successful than African-Americans, Native Americans, and poor Whites because most of them come to this country on a student visa. It is like Bishop says not everyone thinks attending a higher learning institution is considered successful to them, it is what each person considers to be successful.
