Really nice video I'm in Mississippi and was about 16 at this time and that's about how it was down here we used to see droves of does but bucks just weren't that plentiful but bk then I don't think we could kill but 1 doe a year and that was at black powder season when they finally let us start thinning out some does we started seeing plenty of bucks thanks for sharing this that just took me back 30 years to my youth love it
Pretty sure it was Winchester .308. I do recall that year I was having issues with the scope on the Winchester so I might have switched guns part way through that hunt.
The guy with the big glasses moves way too much in the stand . And as the other comments the guys need to practice better gun safety. Shoulder those rifles while you chat . I’m surprised these guys saw any deer . You can tell the deer are winding these hunters.I do want to thank you for the video. I can just picture the giant VHS camera in the stand .
That young man the blonde hair one Jeff A needs to take his Hunter's Safety over again. Not safe for his friend in front of him or you Zac an Fred. Jeff A was swinging that Rifle up an down like it was a stick in his hand. That's how Hunter's get hurt or killed every Hunting Season.
Dustin, I understand your views, but this is one of those things that in a sense is an optical illusion. Partially because you are watching this in a Two-2 dimensional screen, opposed to being in the moment in a 3-D situation, which if you were ther would see that in no way Bub put anyone in front of his barrel .I know on screen it appears to be an extremely un-safe situation. However, I can personally guarantee, anytime I ever feel uncomfortable around anyone that is handling a firearm, I let them know, IMMEDIATELY!!! Unfortunately, At times in production, in a rush to get the story out, we don't realize how things appear to the viewer.
