Mojo Story's Anoop reports from Rajghat Mukti Dham in Uttar Pradesh's Gorakhpur. To know the ground reality of Covid crisis in Gorakhpur, we talked to several people here. A man who lost his wife to Covid-19 said that she was the Principal of the Junior High School. She was ferried to a hospital in Gorakhpur which is one of the biggest and oldest hospital in the city. He said that the hospital staff allegedly stole away his wife's golden bangle and silver anklets and also claimed that the hospital didn't give injections to her on time and allegedly stole away all injections. Another man named Mukteshwar Nath Pandey, who help families perform the last rites at the cremation ground said that 30 to 35 dead bodies are being cremated at this funeral site in a single day. Another man said that the situation in Gorakhpur in alarming and Covid has brough in a large scale devastation in the city.
