UP Trango X Race, first flight 

A short flight for our first contact with the new EN C paraglider from UP. The Trango X Race is directly derived from the Trango XC 3 and it feels very similar, yet also different. The overall cohesion and solidity in flight are improved, while inflation and turns are now more straightforward. Besides, the renovated shark nose helps improve pitching stability and the new risers with balls allow to steer in 2-liner style. In short, a more effective Trango.
On this flight I flew without variometer and alone so these are subjective assessments. I will soon take it the X-Race to the sky again well equipped with my instruments and in the company of other gliders to compare and evaluate its performance. See you soon!
